Brought a growler home from Founders a few weeks ago. Consumed a few days thereafter.
Pours a bright golden with slight haze and a nice white head. Good clingy lacing on the way down. Smell wasn't as strong as I'd like, with some floral and citrus hops coming through. Taste brings the same bunch, although not in a very intense way. While this strays away from the boring end of the style, it's not quite as interesting as Gumballhead and similar offerings. Slight wheat dryness. Drinkability is good on what I imagine is a pretty low ABV beer, but not nearly as good as most Founders offerings (which is really more praise for Founders than criticism of this).

Reviewed on 6/27/2010. On tap at Founders. The beer pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, hop oils, and wheat malt. Flavor of hop spices, light floral hops, and citrus. It is very hoppy for a wheat beer and pretty tasty too.

Got to sample this at Founders Fest! The review is from notes taken on 6/19/2010 and poured from the tap to a big ol' plastic cup.
Appearance: Pours a wheaty yellow/orange/coppery color and starts with a short 1/2 finger head that's white; head fades to a full and complete cap; body is very cloudy, but shows very fast and tiny bubbles of carbonation near the sides; a nice ring and a few washes of lacing are left behind.
Smell: A nice and sweet citric and juicy orange/mango presence; a bit of a sweet bready yeastiness; nose is solid, and there is a bit of a peppery spiciness lingering in there as well.
Taste: Nice light an smooth citric aspect (orange, possible a hint of banana and mango tropical presence as well); a slight Belgian peppery/clove like spiciness in there and a bit of a tall and toasty wheaty graininess; also, there is a bit of a grassy hoppy bitterness lingering in the back. Quite solid.
Mouthfeel: Mouth is smooth and fairly creamy; body is of medium weight; carbonation is light, yet very present; a thin semi-dry coating is left hanging on to the entire palate.
Drinkability: This could really be an all-day kind of beer, especially in this warmer summer weather; nice light and smooth flavors and a body that doesn't necessarily weigh you down, I wish there was a known ABV to help me determine this in a more overall fashion, but going by what I picked up in the beer, it's a great drinker.

A: hazy gold, plenty of lacing, and a head that lasts forever.
S: bouquet is that of a pale ale more than anything else. Centennial hops meld with citrusy wheat.
T: taste follows the nose, delivering a wheaty pale ale. Piney hopes and wheat combine for a deliciously thirst quenching experience.
M: medium body and heavy carbonation.
D: great for the hot day at Founders Fest.
