The bartender described this as a hazelnut porter with coffee and chocolate added in.
A: This beer looks amazing, with a black-velvet body and a creamy mocha colored head. It has excellent texture and retention.
S: The nose is very vibrant, with generous doses of coffee, chocolate, and caramel. It almost reminds me of tiramisu.
T: This brew is perfectly balanced between the sweet and the bitter. Chocolate, Frangelico, and caramel are perfectly offset by bitter roasted malt, coffee, and a touch of hops. This is quite enjoyable.
M: The texture of this beer enhances its richness, with a creamy velvet feel.
O: Definitely a must try, especially for dessert.

This is a keeper. Keep this one in stock.
I concur from the Founders website:
Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders’ robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.

On nitro pour at Founders. Served in a pint glass.
Pours black with a fantastic tan head and a good bit of lacing all the way down. The nose has strong coffee and faint hazelnut with a bit of roast. Flavor doesn't quite hit the same additive levels but still quite good. Amazing body and super smooth. Great coffee. Superb. Boom.

Killer head and lace from this black nitro pour.
Hazelnut, toffee, roasted nuts, and coffee in the smell.
Smooth is the first thing I think as the hazelnut liquid combines with roastiness. The marriage of flavors is quite nice. Nice bittering at the end to keep it from being too sweet.
Super smooth and rich mouthfeel. Like butter in your mouth.
This is a super Porter! Great taste, look, and feel.

The appearance of this brew was really a sight to behold...Nice deep color (very dark brown/black), and a thick, frothy brown head, very smooth and creamy in appearance. The lacing is glorious and faithful, stays with you til the end. Smell is definitely roasted coffee, hazelnut. Taste is more of the same. Very, very rich coffee flavor, with chocolate, roasted malt, and a light bitter touch in the finish. Delicious. I could go on and on about the mouthfeel. Incredible, full, silky smooth body. Deep, rich creamy feel. Fills your mouth. Simply a perfect body.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this little gem. The only downside I had with it was the extreme richness in the flavor. Not that it's bad, but could definitely weigh in on drinkability depending on your taste. Gotta try at least one, though!

Nitro-tap, poured into a nonic pint.
A- Typical nitro pour. Beautiful brown head atop a rich brown-black body. Thick rings are left all over the glass.
S- Rich aroma of hazelnut coffee. Closing my eyes, I imagine I could be fooled into thinking I was presented with such.
T- Follows aroma. Straight up hazelnut flavored coffee. Unlike aroma, the flavor's a bit on the sweet side. Definite hit of "sugar in the raw.". Kind of like I took my coffee back in the day, 2-3 packets of cane sugar to a cup.
M- More nitro goodness. Creamy and smooth.
O- A great brew. Definitely fits the name. I had a couple and would have drank more if I could. Would not hesitate to drink again or suggest to a fan of hazelnut or flavored coffees.

Enjoyed this beer on site at Founders from a nitro tap.
The first thing I can say about this beer is the wonderful creaminess of it. It was poured into a pint glass and took a full five minutes to settle.
It left about 3/4 of an inch of dense light brown head that added some additional character to each sip.
The taste itself was sweet frangelico with a bit of a malty aftertaste.
Overall I savored this beer for twenty minutes as a friend and I had just stopped in to pick up a growler of something else. His jealousy that I had chosen this pint and he had chosen something else demonstrated how delicious each sip of this beer was.
Having this on a nitro tap certainly brought much of the dense creaminess to this beer so it would be interesting to taste it bottled or drawn off of a firkin.
