A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a clear texture. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Fair lacing.

S: A very sweet and fruity aroma (the mango), with hints of malt as well.

T: Tasted of mango (a pretty good amount of it), light malt, and a good shot of habanero pepper in the finish. Certainly not your typical flavor. An interesting combo of sweet and hot. It's jarring at first, but grows on you after a while.

M: A good amount of carbonation with a fiery finish, courtesy of the habaneros. Finish is a bit on the harsh side. Medium-bodied.

O: Undoubtedly, this beer will not please everyone (what beer does?), but it's certainly worth a shot if you want to try something different.

Pale tangerine-gold color with good clarity. The head plays small, but lacing is decorative.

Tropical fruitiness with a hoppy kind of flair. I get that this aspect of the nose comes from the mango additions, but it's on the dry-side, like Citra hops would offer. Mostly pale, but a souped-up pale with American malts and dormant yeast. Notes of apricot flesh and hints of canned pineapple come to mind. Some light syrupy notes included.

Medium-sweet mango fruit with notes of apricot and golden raspberry up-front, with a distinguishable citric heat of habanero pepper that begins mid-palate and swells to spicy late. Finishes with a piquant tingle for forever. Hops are inadmissable, but there's some shining bitterness. The heat of habanero pepper is macho, but manageable. Very fruity and flavors of canning syrup are apparent, but the capsaicin spells relief from what would've been a too-sweet beer. Excellent beer.

Drinks surprisingly on the lighter side. Syrupy flavors doesn't translate to a syrupy feel. Carbonation does just enough for you not to want to quit on this beer. Alcohol is prominent, but short of distracting. It's done big, for sure.

I love a good beer with a spice element. Mango flavor is delicious without being nectary or, at all, fake. Habanero saves this one. Magnifique.
