Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.

Yields a slightly clouded color with a one finger broad, stable white head.
Aromas are defined by a lime wrapped exotic fruit basket, accompanied by a note of caramel and lighter red currants.
Has a light and refreshing mouthfeel with an effervescent finish to it, creating an utmost thirst quenching beverage.
Tastes of bitter limes, rustic toffee and sweet marzipan among matured grass and white bread dough. Offers an ongoing bitterness with an uprising bubbly, stony carbonation among lighter wheat and garden leaves. Finishes with lighter oranges, maintaining, prominent limes and supportive bread dough, creating a clean and crisp finish.
Solid, easy drinking Pale with a convincing balance to it.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, little else is present. Taste is citrus, malts, a bit of dankness, bitter for a pale ale. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent but unspectacular beer.

Meh...heavy on the hops and a nice malty body. IMHO, this was a decent pale-ale, but kinda thin. I would like to try fresher (canned 4/27/20)..will revisit.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light yellow/golden color with a soft white head. SRM of 6-7. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong juicy aromas of grapefruit, tropical peach, tangerine, greenness. Some green pineapple and banana too. Sort of imparts some bubblegum, but mostly green banana rather I think. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor follows more with more vibrant grapefruit citrus, green tropics, unripened peach. Mostly grapefruit citrus, but a definite tropical green banana flavor. Maybe not banana, but that's what I'm getting. (4.00)
Feel: Lighter-bodied. Good carbonation, but still soft. Clean but leaves a pleasant green astringency. (4.00)
Compared to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale 11/23/20: Pours a lighter color. More grapefruit, green peach and tropical banana. Less orange citrus and soap. A lighter malt profile. Juicier overall.
Overall: A very delicious and juicy pale ale. For how long this beer has been brewed, it's impressive. Today, it's nothing extraordinary. But back when this one was released, I'm sure it was something spectacular. Nice and juicy grapefruit, green tangerine/peach, and tropical green banana. Hard to describe, but it has some really great flavors. This beer was probably one to set the groundwork for some of the newer and juicer IPAs. (Final Rating: 4.04)
*Would probably compare to Surly X-tra Pale Ale*
