Crisp golden color with a little bit of carbonation showing, but not much. Nose was rather light but consisted mostly with sweet malts with a faint aroma of spicy hops. When the beer warms the malts really showed through. Taste was rather good. Starts out with malts and a hint of grain with hops popping out later on. Good balance with this beer. And at 5.3 it had quite the medium mouthfeel to it. Not all that light. But a good beer choice here. Too bad they don't fill growlers with this though. Their growler policy is all messed up all together I think.

at first glance, you could confuse this with a Budweiser product, until you notice that the head doesn't fade away impishly or take a whiff and smell the tangy carbonation ascending. this beer packs a whallop of flavor for such a lighter colored beer. a good tangy start very lightweight on the tongue. it finishes smooth without changing its flavor. it also leaves you anxiously waiting the next sip. another quality brew from John Harvard's.

A- Bright, clear, golden color. Thick white head. Good retention and lacing.
S- Clean & malty not much hop aroma.
T- Crisp, slight graininess. Balanced malt & hop bitterness with citrusy notes.
M- Crisp, clean finish, dry but a little malt sweetnes sticks to your tongue on the finish.

A really fine example of this style and an easy drinking lager. Clear clean gold/yellow appearance and a crisp balanced munich (?) malt and noble hop aroma. The beer is smooth and medium bodied on the tongue. The flavors a re well defined malt, no butter or off flavors. Finished clean, crisp with a slight lemon rind hop finish, very refreshing. A quaffable beer that was quite enjoyable.
