Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
Man, these guys are much better at bowling than I'll ever hope to be... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear ruby-brown topped by a finger of light sandstone foam. The nose comprises chocolate, light toasted caramel, and straight malt. The taste brings in more of the same, though everything comes through lighter, more airy. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Overall, a highly enjoyable dunkel lager, something we don't see too many of at brewpubs 'round these parts.
Serving type: on-tap
