definitely not retired. also the cans say 5% abv now, probably changed when the laws did like so many other utah beers. cool these guys are selling in idaho now, picked up a sixer of these today, sharp looking cans, affordable, and its a filtered wheat, somewhat unexpectedly, although i guess i didnt look all that closely at them before i scooped. anyway its a honey colored brew quite clear with rising bubbles and an inch of fading white head, pretty in the glass, although i like my wheats with a little residual character, not too refined. the honey in this is nice, evident in nose and taste without being sweet at any point, and highly compatible with the wheat male. its off dry overall, but the wildflower element of it is cool, some light citrus and grass too, tea maybe, and overall a very simple beer without any real yeast profile and almost too cleaned up. i think the honey makes it, this would be totally one dimensional without it. just earthy enough to have some balance, and the high carbonation makes it both refreshing and highly drinkable. an easy beer to rip through, and seems like a good selection for one of the first days of the year that actually feels like spring. looking forward to the other five in my fridge, should work well with the grilled lobster tails tonight!

Pours a cloudy yellow color, not much carbonation, small white head, with some nice sticky lacing throughout the drink. The nose is malty, yeasty, with some nice grassy notes. The taste is malty, yeasty, with some spice. Medium body. Drinkable, a nice little hefe.
