The interior is typically Danish minimalistic; white walls, some musically-related collages on the walls. The furniture is a mix of new and old. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed; the clientele seems to be a mix of after-work suits, families, some tourists and the occasional beer geeks.

The inner part of the premises houses the restaurant, reservation in advanced is recommended. In the summertime, the patio becomes a large beer garden.

I had some snacks, the small cheese plate and larger tapas plates are booth recommended.

The bar offers some 20 bottled beers, mostly Belgians. From the brewery upstairs, some 4-7 beers are offered. At times, one of the beers is sold from cask. They also got guest beers from other Danish microbreweries.

A very relaxed and inviting brewpub with interesting brews.

The place is in the very center of the city and of easy reach. As we were there on a summer day we sat and enjoyed our beers and food in the open courtyard. That was very nice. All three of us had a beer taste wich consisted of 5 different beers for 85 Danish kr (11 euroes more or less). These may change but we were offered a vesterweisse, PJ Harvey India pale ale, hurricane pale ale, India Pale ale and a Cole Porter. The waiter spoke a little about them and their characteristics. It was a very nice way of tasting many. My personal favorite was Hurricane although India pale ale was also delicious. You can also have some snack food or some Danish smørebrød. I can only recommend it.

(From notes)

The hotel that I was staying at was really close to the Brewpub's location, so I had the opportunity to stop in a couple of times during my visit.

The atmosphere was definitely nice, with a more laid-back, not quite overly modern, but 'new' feel to the place. Classier joint, but very accessible and not stuffy. I sat (both times) in and around the bar area, though there is a more formal dining area off to the side. Unfortunately, it was still pretty chilly during my visit and did not have a chance to enjoy the pretty cool looking courtyard/outdoor seating area.

Decent guest bottle selection, but clearly not the emphasis.

Service was prompt and cordial, and open to questions about the brews. Great handling (as customary in most of Europe) of the glassware and proper pours provided.

At the time of my visit, they had 6 of their own brews on tap with a couple of guest lines (Great Divide Titan and Hibernation for example) and even had one of their brews on cask.

Brews were solid enough, and very much leaned toward more traditional intepretations of European styles.

Food was solid, and the bar area served more upscale like pub grub, and can't comment what was offered in the dining area.

Definitely worth a stop, but probably not the highlight of my trip to Copenhagen.

Definitely a place worth experiencing once. Try both the Atlantic IPA and the Geronimo IPA. Two of the best beers that I have ever had. Location is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing and suitable for groups up to 6-8 people. I found the bar staff to be very knowledgeable of the brewing process and ingredients. They were more than happy to discuss their beers in detail. The beers are served at a very nice temperature in a freshly washed and water chilled glass. Great place which I highly recommend.

"You get what you pay for" applies here. You spend about $10 USD and you get a wonderful beer (some of the best beer I have ever had). The atmosphere is somewhere you could take a date, smoke a bowl in a pipe, of hang out with a small group of friends. The beer is brewed less than 5 m from where it is served.

They take sanitation and cleanliness seriously as the whole bar, pub, and patio are clean and elegant. The lighting is perfect during the night and they have an interesting split hanging canopy pivoting out from a central point covering most of the patio. The restrooms are clean and nicely decorated and kept.

I will be visiting this brewpub again shortly to try the rest of the beers.

After an initial period of about 6 months with several brews showing weaknesses, Brewpub began to shine. Today it is always a pleasure tasting their homemade stuff. Especially I like the dark brown ale 'James Brown', a full bodied beer with nice roasty tones and a good choice of hops (amarillo).
They have several other beers than their own both tap and bottled.

The café offers a good homemade burger with rustic fries. The best way to enjoy the good selection of beer is to try and catch a chair in the patio, and then look up and enjoy the light of the stars, holding your loved one...

I went here on a cold, rainy October night and was surpised by the number of people inside. Not overcrowded, but clearly the locals like this place because there were many of them, and they were happy. The space itself is clean, modern, and feels like it belongs in this great city. The beers were excellent. Being a hop head, I had the Atlantic IPA and was pleasantly surprised by how closely it resembled and American IPA. My meal was very good, and the staff wasn't at all put out by my unusual request to eat it at the bar (there is a sizable dining room so people generally just drink in the bar). This is definitely on my short list of places to return to on my next Norici trip!

Brewpub is located on Vetsergade just around the corner from Rådhusplatsen, right in ther centre of Copenhagen. It's a small place although in the summertime you can sit in the patio outside too. Unlike most breweries in the world this one has a female brewmeister, Gunhild Kolvereid. At the time of my visit Brewpub offered five of their own beers (and a promise of a sixth), and seven guest beers on tap. The menue looked alright but I just munched down a platter of tapas to satisfy my salt want. The Atlantic IPA I ordered gave me quite a surprise. They say it has a dark copper color but it looked more like a Latte with the milk gone sour. Nevertheless, it tasted fine, as did my friend's Cole Porter which I seriously tried while he was in the gents room. This was in the late Friday afternoon, and the place started to fill up with young professionals. All and all, it is an easily accessible and unpretensious brewpub with some interesting brews and well worth a visit.
