Its one of those all natural hippy grocery stores in the area, but if you keep your blinders on and walk straight to the walk-in beer refrigerator, you will find yourself in a nice little oasis. (Although beware of the occasional hippy coming to pick up some Samuel Adams.)
I went in there because I heard they had Bell's Batch 9000, but I will definitely be returning to check out the rest of there stuff. Price was very reasonable. Wide selection of bombers.
Note: being the hippy grocery store that it is, they don't take cards, so make sure to bring cash. (this is the reason for the 2 rating on service)

Had the chance to visit Madison yesterday and received a solid hookup at the Jenifer Street Market.
Saw tons of stuff that can be hard to come by in Milwaukee and Chicago, Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout (SWBBS), Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Barley-wine, Central Waters Peruvian Morning, Founders Imperial Stout, and about a dozen cases of Bells Hop Slam. The real find was the very last bottle of Founders Old Curmudgeon Better Half and with not a trace of price gouging markup! Bless you JSM and bless your beer department manager!!!

They are a very homegrown operation and operate on a budget, so cash or local check only. The beer selection is quite good. Really heavy on the Wisconsin beer, however you can totally find a gem here and there. 90% of the beer is kept in a walk in refrigerator, which is reassuring when picking up a lesser known bomber or six pack. Because of its location I dont make it here often, as the atwood area is not the most accessible of madison areas, but if im around I love to stop in to see what they got.

Stopped by after Great Taste of the Midwest. Nice little neighborhood market with lots of foods and an unexpected craft beer selection. Small beer cooler with tons of beers stashed in there. Freezing Cold. Picked up some nice Wisconsin goodies and Oskar Blues which I cant get in Indiana. I thought they had a nice selection, worth stopping by when in Madison. Not sure who orders their beers but they had some goodies. There didnt seem to be a "beer maestro" around. They only take cash or local check, although there is an ATM in store.

Stopped here and went to the beer room... wow is it cold in there, like 32.0001 degrees F. As for the selection I was rather impressed for a place whose core business isn't probably beer. Found some great deals on beers like Founder's Breakfast Stout among others. For the most part all the beer was in the cold room but some did have some displays out in the regular part of the store. One guy there seemed to know about beer, but joked that they should hire me as I stood in the cooler making recommendations to people. I will go back if I'm in the area, and would be a regular if I lived near by.

Stopped in here during my trip to madison.
Looks like your typical upscale organic grocery store. I made a bee line for the beer and hopped in the cooler. Damn it was cold in there. I could see my breath. Not just a little vapor but a full white cloud with every breath. It had to be like 33 degrees in there. Pretty much all the beer is in the cooler. Very nice selection though. Sixers from all the midwest usuals and actually some I've never seen in Milwaukee. A nice bomber selection.
They had a couple cases of Y2K cosmic charlie so I grabbed a few of those. Otherwise nothing really grabbed me as far rare or unique.
A n ice little store with a solid craft selection.
