My first time trying an "Herbed Ale" of any sort.
Pours a hazy, foamy dark yellow. I smell lots of honey and malt and a peaty earthiness. A bit floral. Nothing too crazy though.
Taste is decent, a very malty, sweet and mossy flavor with lots of honey.. A bit sour on the backend, and a bit of a corn flavor to it. Reminds me of some Scottish ales I've had more than anything. Finish is dry and crisp. Rather drinkable.
All in all, not a bad beer, but not a great one either. I wouldn't necessarily seek this one out, but Ive had a lot worse. Thanks to Ostevela for the bottle.
