Wow, only two reviews in 2005...

This is probably the place I shop at the most given its location. The selection is a bit smaller than the big stores throughout CT, but it tends to have some real gems and some nicer beers that will sit on shelves for longer. Prices are very reasonable and there is always plenty of limited Founders, DFH, Goose Island, Wyerbacher, and other big name breweries that distribute out here. The local selection is also great with NEBCO 500ml bottles and Seahag/668 as well as Two Roads, Berkshire, Olde Burnside, Hooker, etc. You can usually grab some random vintage bottles as well. The selection and variety has really improved over the last year or so. Prices are very reasonable and the crew is always friendly. Easily the best selection in the town of Tolland, and probably a few of the neighboring towns. Very much worth a stop in if you are traveling towards Uconn.

Located off of 195 right off of 84 in Tolland. The store itself is almost overflowing with inventory as it seems that storage is pretty limited. Most of the floor space is occupied with wine racks, etc., but there are about seven or eight cooler doors dedicated to beer. The craft brew selection includes: Rogue, DFH, Victory, Coastal Extreme, Salvator, Troutbrook, etc. No Belgians. A few top shelf microbrew singles: i.e., DFH Worldwide Stout, T.H. Liberator, T.H. Imperial Porter, etc. Not the best selection I've seen in the Eastern CT area, but the best in town to be sure. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the owner is known for special ordering anything that they don't normally stock. Nothing to go out of your way for, but not a bad stop if you're in town.

Good location. 200 yds from I-84, 2mi from home. Decent selection of micros and imports. Ric always has a surprise for me. Went looking for IPA, came back with DFH 60, no surprise, but also DFH 90 and Southampton Secret. Went looking for a mix 12-pack of Magic Hat, came back also with a mix 12-pk of Southern Tier. Good outlet for Thomas Hooker products as well Marley, Imp Porter and Helles when in season. Also good selection of Rogue products (they go fast). Ric always offers to order anything I'm looking for if he can get it from his distributor. He and his staff are knowlegable.
