Was there Saturday early afternonn, so the place was pretty quiet. Sat at the bar solo. Love the atmosphere and decor of the place; very welcoming and warm. Service from the 2 barkeeps was good; good knowledge of beer, and good conversation about beer.
Had one appetizer, a chicken eggroll that was very good.
Beer selection, while certainly better than average to good, doesn't blow me away. There were about 15 taps? Started with a Hefe to ease in; the Erdinger is nothing special. Moved to their only hoppy choice, Loose Canon which was pretty good. Other craft choices were just a little on the pedestrian side for me; Prima Pils, Allagash White, plus more that I can't remember.
Prices are reasonable, a great place for a cold one when near Government Center or Fanuel Hall.

I have been an off and on regular here for about 3 years. The atmosphere is very comfortable, especially in the nice weather when the windows and patio are open. It is a bit pricey for the non-beer drinks but the beers are very reasonable especially considering the selection. They do a great job of rotating each week and they've added an upcoming list so you know what is in line to get tapped. The staff is excellent and have really made me feel welcome and greet with a smile. I definitely recommend coming by for some after work drinks.
