So picked this stuff from a bottle shop in Chattanooga, TN out of curiosity of trying some import from Russia. Turns out this is from Lithuania.

Anyways.

Pours a brown colored liquid. Deep amber with copper and brown hues inside the glass. Almost one finger thick tan colored head that disappears very very quickly. Leaves nothing behind. No lacing. Some bubbles seen rising up. Slight haze.

Extremely rich malty sweetness with caramel and toasty character. Alcohol is not apparent. Seems like some dry fruit as well, some figs may be. But very off setting aroma. Not inviting at all. No phenol, alcohol or hops are felt.

Hits the tongue with all the sweetness there is. Looks richer in molasses. Full of caramel, bad toffee taste and flat single sided malt taste. Tastes a bit unfermented. Finish is sweet. Some alcohol is felt. A bit of carbonation and alcohol add some value to an otherwise flat malt taste. No bitterness, but some hops must have been used to prevent the sweetness from overpowering.

Medium to slightly full bodied. Moderate to slightly high carbonation. N oastringency except for some moderate alcohol feeling that creeps in with taste. Sweet on palate. Difficult to finish.

Pours a hazy copper with a frothy cream head that dissipates quickly to nothing.

Booze, dark candi sugar, nutty caramel malt, raisins, and plums form the aroma.

Flavor is less appealing, beginning with a metallic note that lingers throughout. I can tell the base toasted malt is nice, with brown sugar sweetness accenting the underlying notes of dates, figs, and prunes.

Body is a tad light for the style, with fairly low carbonation and noted alcohol warmth.

Could be a really nice beer, but that metallic/tangy character kills it.

Thanks to Quique for sharing this one at Retsinis' tasting.

Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, and fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with honey and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable and not all that bad for what it is.

Clear amber pour with a dark ruby hue. Weak head and lacing. The nose is of malt against a strong alcohol background. Medium body with a smooth texture. Low carbonation level. The flavor profile is two dimensional - caramel malt sweetness over a strong alcohol background. The hop level is so low it's almost undetectable. As it warms, and the palate becomes accustomed to the alcohol, the sweetness comes forward. On the finish, it flows from sweetness to an alcoholic aftertaste. A good, but not great, beer. More hops and dark malt would improve this one a great deal.

It is the best Beer I ever tried. The only problem it is hard to find it in Boston area. I agree that it would be useful to have expiration date. But based on my experience in our local store Winchester Wine and Spirits (Winchester, MA) you should buy all what you see. I remember they got 20 bottles and I (how stupide of me) bought only six. I came next Saturday and they were already sold out. Now I have to wait till they get another shipment.
