Poured most of 16 ounce bottle into my pint glass, some remained.

A- Very nice amber color with generous head. Nice.

S- Complex smell. Malts are there. There is also almost a plum smell perhaps even brown sugar.

T- Also complex. Malt are the initial taste followed by some sweetness, not sure how to describe other than plum perhaps.

M- Mouthfeel is good, medium bodied, fair carbonation but not heavy by any means.

D- Drinkability for this is good for the style I believe, but also fairly strong in alcohol %. It hides the alcohol very well and after the first couple of sips is pretty good. I don't think it is a beer meant to be a session beer, but one to be savored. Worth a try.

Not a bad beer, can't taste the alcohol much. Was disapointed on the suds, not much abd they faded quick. Color is very red, and you can see through it but its kinda foggy though no sediment. Tastes very fruity, tangy, a little different then some beers- tasts of possibly sour apples. Medium thickness on the mouth feel, leaves you a little tart.

The color is essentially red with a dark orange hue. A fluffy white head pours and remains at about one finger for a short time, leaving light to moderate lacing behind.
The smell is malt, a light caramel sweetness, something just slightly musty, and a mix of tart and citric fruits. It's a little light with a funk to it.
The taste is to par with the exception of a stronger hops presence and a light sourness lingering that seems to complement the sweetness and makes me think it's some mix of fruits that produces it.
The body shifts between seeming a little thin and filling out with a creamy thickness. I don't know when that's happened before. I'd say the light side of medium is where this one sits. Carbonation is moderate.
I think this loses points in some score because no one really knows how to classify it and it seems some people want more alcohol in the flavor. I think well-masked is a good thing, and I;ve certainly had worse than this. It's an above-average brew.

A - Dark purple and brown with a little white head. I like the color.

S - Woozy boozy alcohol and grape flavored Tootsie Roll Pops. Smells potent.

T - Heavy on the grainy cereal flavors with some molasses on the back end.

M - Heavy and thick. This is a beast!

Not so good. I found all of these Lithuanian beers at a really low price so I had to pick them up, but none of theme have been anything special. They are all REALLY high ABV too.

Took a chance on this despite the little tag hanging off the bottle proclaiming its high ABV, usually a sign of a bad thinks to come (think Tenents Super for instance). But the Wolf-man was my favorite old school movie monster, so let's give this a flutter..

Pours copper colored with 3 fingers of sand colored head. No head retention & only a bit of lacing

S: Breadyness, fruittyness, plus some leafy hops once warm

T: Breadyness, plus metallic hops (not a lot) & apple peels up front. Some leafy hops as this warms, along with sweet apple flavor. Finishes dry & fruitty

MF: Medium bodied with fairly assertive carbonation

Drink okay, the ABV is well hidden, but this just not that good a beer or a representation of the style. I am happy that I had a better experience than some prior reviewers, beware the Werewolf!!

I've seen this on the shelves a number of times and I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a bottle. Poured into a snifter.

A - Pours an amber hued copper with a thin off-white head, despite my best efforts to force a head out of the bottle.

S - Some bread and sweet malts. Pretty boring.

T - I get some metallic hops up front, kind of painful to be honest, alongside some fruits and apple. The metallic note sort of lingers on throughout the taste making this a rough experience. As the beer warms the fruit becomes more dominant and the metallic notes recede. This is still far from desirable, although a sharp jump from its cold counterpart.

M - Medium mouthfeel with some strong carbonation. Bottom line this is hurting my mouth a bit.

O - There are few beers that I refuse to finish until it warms, otherwise it is unbearable.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a pretty brownish amber color with a small head. Smell is of alcohol, some fruits. Taste is alcohol up front, some fruits and malts, not overly flavorful. Feels light in the mouth and has average drinkability. Overall a decent brew but nothing great.

From the 1 pt. 0.9 fl. oz bottle marked L.67287. Sampled on April 26, 2009.

It pours a hazy copper with almost no head. The head that is there (for a few seconds) is beige and creamy.

The aroma is overly sweet like caramel and sugar. Also there is an element of malts. Most beer lovers would think they were sniffing an ice cream sundae it is so sweet but I actually kind of liked it.

The mouthfeel is typically medium and the taste is outrageously sweet! It was like drinking caramel swirl ice cream. If you like it sweet you will probably like this. But if you are a hops or alcohol fan you might find it a bit too much to bear.

Clear vibrant orange. Offwhite head without much rentention. no laces.

Metallic Cotton Candy. some citrus and floral notes. Light toast. Pear. Plus a weird smell I cant put my finger on.

Sweet candi sugar, metallic cotton candy. Toasted bread and brown sugar. Floral and lemon hop character. Fruity pear yeast esters.

Rich, sticky, med body. refreshing steady carbonation.

Refreshing and drinkable, but a bit on the sweet side. Not one i'd really revisit, but it was ok. Not sure what style this is like most here, quite a unique brew.

16 oz bottle, lager glass.
Rich amber with a fleeting tan head. Very little lace is left on the glass.
Aroma is sweet malt, almost bublegum, and wet grain.
Flavor is sugary sweet, cloying, with a metallic middle and an astringent finish.
If you are a fan of high alcohol sugar bombs this one's for you. I could not even finish a glass.

Pours a medium amber color with almost no carbonation and absolutely no lacing. Smells like what you would imagine an artificial lager syrup smelling like. Incredibly sweet and malty with a lot of cheap alcohol. Leaves a metallic aftertaste. Overall about on the equivalent of any generic malt liquor in the States. Absolutely nothing about this is Belgian in style. Drinkable, but only for a purpose other than enjoyment.

I found this 500ml bottle at Sal's Liquors in Addison, IL for $2.99. Cool label but no freshness date.

The beer poured a murky apple cider color with a 1-finger white head. Short lived retention and almost no lacing.

The aroma was on the sweet side Toffee/maple syrup smell with bready malt and a good dose of alcohol.

Very sweet caramel and bready malt flavor with a lot lot lot of alcohol. Huge and unpleasant alcoholic aftertaste as well. Yuk!

Medium bodied with medium high carbonation.

Not very drinkable. A waste at any price.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a huge rocky head. The aroma is malty and spicy. The malt is deep and inviting. The taste is sweet and smooth. The alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is a little thinner than I would have liked. Overall, this is a highly drinkable brew....pleasantly surprised.

"You must be sure you wanna taste it" on the label. lol...sure, why not?! Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a large-bubbled light tan head. Fades pretty quick to just a thin sheen.

Dont know why, but when I bought this I thought it was a Euro lager. After one sniff, it most certainly is not. Lots of dark fruits are bursting out of the glass as well as a thick malty aroma.

This is actually quite smooth and pleasant to drink. Figs, raisins, brown sugar, caramel and burnt toast come to mind. By far the best beer I have had from the Baltic nations. It is a bit thin and not overly complex, but it is not lacking in flavors and the 8.2% is well hidden. As is warms though, it does get a bit rougher around the edges and mildly boozy. I am thinking this bottle probably has about a year of age on it and seems to have done it some good, however it does not taste like it would age for more than a couple. I enjoyed this beer quite a bit and would buy it again, for sure.

Honey amber with a fine patchy white head that leaves fine lace behind. Bubblegum, toffee and fusel alcohol. Sweet and malty with an herbal hop twang that lingers in the mouth. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation, finishes hot. While it doesn't measure up to the style (are we sure this is a Belgian style ale?) it is unique. Worth a try.

Served in a chilled tulip glass.

-Appearance 4.0: Pours out a beautiful amber that is strangely opaque and not translucent. I cannot see my hand on the other side of the glass in spite of the liquid looking clear. Very strange. Almost no head to this beer, just a slight foamy residue on top after the pour.

-Smell 4.0: Very, very nice bouquet. Deep aroma of barley and grains. Slight hop overtones. Promising.

-Taste 3.0: Front is slightly sour with a pleasant bitterness. Also somewhat sweet. Middle is big and filled with barley and caramel malts. Finish is slightly sour again and has a very subdued hoppy kick. Aftertaste is long and after a mild, high-palate bitterness, there is a very refreshing and long alkaline hop flavor. There is, however, a troubling metallic aftertaste.

-Mouthfeel 3.0: A higher level of carbonation could have really elevated the taste of this beer.

-Overall 3.5: This beer sat in the cool temperature of my basement for over a year before I tried it, so that may explain why my review is so wildly different from others. It is my opinion that this beer is refreshing and has a depth of flavor and aroma that sets it apart from many other beers. I never tasted the high alcohol content; everything was smooth and enjoyable. I did, however, notice a large amount of sediment on the bottom which is a result of the beer aging in the bottle.

A - Clear and copper in color. Barely a thin little head.

S - Mostly cherries with a malty backdrop.

T - Cherries, watery and slightly sour with a bitter finish

M - Highly carbonated with an aftertaste reminiscent of an artificial sweetener.

No. Can't see myself trying to drink this one again.
