This place aint bad if youre in the Franklin area.

The craft selection is all the way in the back lefthand corner of the store. Its on a tall shelf against the left wall. Pretty good selection, especially with widely available imports (gulden draak, rochefort 8, 10, sam smiths, etc.) Lots of great divide, hopping frog, DFH, victory. Good stuff.

Service was negligible. I was not approached once in the 20 mins i was in there. Sometimes i like that, if i wanna just poke around. But it was pretty lonely.

Decent place, competitive pricing.

First time in this particular Liquor World. Decent selection all the way in the back left-hand corner of the store. Big store. Got your typical belgians ala Chimay, Duval, La Chouffe (Houblon), they had some Rochefort 10's in stock. Rogue, BBC, DFH, Victory, some left over Alesmith (no Speedway though damnit). Decent pricing, nothing over-the-top, pricewise. Competitive. Good selection of craft beer in the coolers as well which is a very GOOD thing. I wasn't too impressed with the service though. Was browsing for well over 10 minutes and had a few workers just walk by me and not say a word but just look at me funny. I;d also like to mention that there wasn't much dust on any of the bottles, which is a good thing as well.

I've heard good things about this liqor store and decided to try it on my way home from work.

As you enter the store there is a nice cigar store indian to greet you. I walked to the back left corner and there was their micro brew selection. A good amount of varities...stone, opa-opa,ale smith many more worth listing. They also have a good amount of growlers along the back coolers and more beers to chose from. Price is right along with other stores but you can find that bargain if you look hard enough. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is now one of my stops when I want to splurge.

Liquor World consists of three locations: Medway, Franklin and Milford. The Medway location really pioneered the craft beer movement for the chain. With LW Medway's success, the other Liquor Worlds have started increasing their own craft beer offerings. I've watched LW Franklin make great strides over the past month.

The store features a craft beer selection located in the back of the store. In addition to the existing shelves, they have purchased new shelving to increase their offerings. The coolers are also well stocked with many local micro offerings. You can expect a full range of DFH, Stone, Middle Ages, Allagash, Ommegang and most of the New England locals. There is a nice Belgian showing of Chouffe, Rochefort, Chimay, Westmall, Achel, Delerium, Gouden and others. In addition to these offerings, the store has assembled a nice selection of imports and American micros.

If you are looking for real beer knowledge and service, go to the Medway store where the Liquor World craft beer pioneers reside. That said, the customer service is up to par in all locations, if not as knowledgeable and customer centric as in Medway Liquor World.

Interestingly enough, there are items that you can obtain in Franklin but not Medway and visa versa. If you are local, you will be well served to travel between locations to enjoy the full range of beers.

Liquor World Franklin is a nice up and coming craft beer oriented liquor store. Liquor World Medway is now well established and doing great things. If you are local to the area, I suggest checking both establishments out and letting the management know that the craft beer attention is appreciated!

So I figured it was worth a shot to try out the old store down the street from me and maybe find a treat for Thanksgiving dinner. Low and behold... this was more than I expected.

The sign says that it is a new craft beer section, but it is certainly expanding. When you enter, walk to the back left, right in front of the returnables section. It is a complete shelving system of warm craft beer. There were only a few bottles and sixers in the fridge.

Selection: Your usual craft beers were there (stone, rogue etc...) but there were also some good finds (Middle Ages, Ale Smith, St. Bernardus Prior 8, Ommegang) Also a good regional selection (Allagash, Smuttynose, Berkshire). Your pretty much going to find it in this section unless you are looking for some very rare stuff.

It was thanksgiving eve and most people were walking in and looking at the extensive wine selection and their were people ready to help with that, but no one by the beer section. However, I felt it wouldn't be a problem to go over and get some help if needed.

Plenty of bombers, 750s, good selection, good display, in Franklin this is the best by far. And it looks like its going to continue to expand. I'll be heading back this weekend probably.

Prices were in line with what you would expect.
