On tap at brewery...6.9% with 30 IBUs.
Copper brown with small head.
Light aroma of English bitter beers.
Modest carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of sweet malts, light molassas, caramel, raisins. A tad sweeter and with less bite than many old ales, perhaps because of the freshness at the brewery.

Had a pint of this excellent old ale Mon night. I want another. It is a strong ale, but far from strong tasting. It is smooth and highly drinkable with excellent nose. The colour is excellent, there is nothing negative to say about this ale.
HMS Bounty Old Ale, is a highly recommended brew.

Saw this one on the engine and had to get it.
Very good looking, perhaps the best looking beer I've seen. Deep amber and ruby, rich. Luscious creamy, dense and enduring head; off-gold/white color.
Aroma is subtle. Muted cherries, sweet bread, malty, some dark plum
Malty and somewhat tamed fruit. Sweet and smooth. A touch of faint nuttiness in the finish. This is a smooth and rather mild ale. The flavors won't bowl you over, but they cannot be ignored. Hops are absent, but this beer is an all dayer. Carbonation is not present, of course, and I'd like to get my hands on the CO2 tap!

Thanks to Kevin for the bottle.
Muddy chestnut body, off white head.
Aromas of plum, brown sugar, molassas, and caramel.
Sweet, malty and fruity. Brown sugar, cherry, cola, prune, and little to no hop flavor or aroma. Seems very traditional.
Sticky, syrupy body.
One of the most drinkable Old Ales I have ever tried. Lower alcohol pays off. Malt forward, but not overly sweet. A well crafted beer.
