Draft at Freshcraft in Denver, CO.
Pours a dark golden yellowish orange color with pale golden yellow hues and a one finger soapy white head that slowly fades into a lasting rings. Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Slightly earthy, funky aroma with a subtle barnyard presence as well as some bready yeast, zesty spice and crisp, light fruit. Hints of apple, pear and citrus peel.
Medium bodied but a bit fuller than expected with a nice balance of earthy funk, lactic cream, zesty spice, bready yeast and crisp fruit. The lactic presence adds complexity and fullness to the palate. Hints of banana, apple, pear and range peel. Peppery with hints of clove, ester and alcohol sweetness. Complex, very well balanced and damn quaffable.

Saw this one on tap last night at the Rackhouse Pub, and as my first choice was unavailable I tried a glass of this one. Poured a light to medium golden color with a decent amount of white foam. Aromas of white pepper, lemon and spice. On the palate, medium bodied with flavors of Belgian yeast, spice and pepper.
