App: Cloudy copper like that of an old penny. Massive amounts of hop sediment makes this beer impossible to see through. One finger off white head that dissipates quickly with some reluctant low lacing and those tell-tale pale ale divots in the middle.
Smell: Good hop nose, fruity, sweet, sour, and bitter. Some smoke and pine like hints in the background. Not as massive as I was hoping. Little bit of heat.
Taste: Hoppy, but honestly a bit underwhelming. Some grapefruit and lemon, well balanced with malt flavors but malt is rather unpronounced. Sweet enough to counterbalance the hops without adding their own special characteristics. Slight woody characteristic up front. A little algal, kind of like Nori. Not bad at all, but not memorable.
Mouth: Nicely carbonated with enough body to stand up to the addition of hops. Good carbonation. Pretty easy drinking.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass.

A- Pours a hazy, unfiltered dull golden-orange body with an off-white head that reduces at a medium rate. Leaves little lacing.

S- Wow, super tropical and fruity. Grapefruit and pineapple, citrus, some piney, resinous aromas. Very inviting.

T- Holy balance. Juicy, fruity, citrusy, tropical hops, sweet caramel, ends fruity with grapefruit and pineapple. Slight bitter, creamy finish. This is AWESOME.

M- Medium body, medium-low carbonation.

This is one of the most underrated beers I've ever tasted. The balance and explosion of flavors work awesome. It's raw, unfiltered character and hop profile mimic the best IPAs out there. A must try.

A small off white head quickly dies into a very thin lacing above a thick unfiltered particle filled IPA.

Citrus, light pine notes, light grasses, and an even light yeastiness all in the aroma of the beer.

Big citrusy to piney hops in the taste of this IPA, seems to be less of the west coast style in the taste then there was in the aroma but this is not a bad thing. A very easy drinking citrusy IPA style of beer.

A dryish citrusy aftertaste on this medium bodied beer.

I have found my favorite Dry Dock beer, well until I get the chance to visit the place and do their sampler anyway.

Appearance - out of a can I cannot see much, but having had this on tap it pours nicely

Smell - nice citrus notes with a great malty backbone

Taste - lots of malt for sure. Not much littering from the hops with just a slight floral note to it.

Mouthfeel - pretty easy drinking beer.

Overall - nothing special, but still a very drinkable IPA

A big thanks to the legendary woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a deep golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of hops, lots of fruits. Taste is well balanced hops and malts, fruity, dry at the finish and tasty. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.
