Well, any brewery that doubles as a home brew shop is worth a stop, at least for those that are home brewers. First, this is not entirely easy to find and is stuck in a retail shopping area. However, once you do wander in, they have around 12 tap handles attached to the cooler wall, along with plenty of maritime swag. The brewer/bar tender is polite and knowledgeable, which is nice considering some are not so polite or knowledgeable. This guy will talk beer almost all day. Once you have sated your thirst, head over to the home brew side of the house and plot your next killer batch. The selection here is adequate for most home brewers. Walk back through the brewery for another pint or two, grab a growler to go and head home for brew day.

Before my wife and I moved away from the city Dry Dock was one of our go to places to grab an awesome beer and relax.
When you fist pull into the parking lot it is easy to have second thoughts as it is in a strip mall with no real visual indicators of how awesome this place really is. Once you walk in you are greeted with a mood lit large room that resembles a brewery and a sailors tavern. There is a large bar that has seating as well as a special area that is just for walk ups, which I think is a really nice thing to have. The rest of the tap room consists of bavarian style communal seating which seems to becoming more and more popular, so don't be afraid if you see some open seats go ask if they are taken and then sit down and make some new friends. There is a shuffle board table as well. I would describe the the atmosphere as "bustling", it is always lively when we have gone.
As far as service goes you can either order from the bar or there is usually a slew of waitresses running around to the tables. Every employee I have encountered there has been great and supper nice. Even though it appears crowded they do a great job of keeping the service timely.
Dry Dock's selection is always abundant and ever changing. Of course they have their main line up but there is always a variety of seasonals. One thing I did notice is some of the experimental seasonals are not the best but wait before you think this a bad thing. It means that they are always trying allot of new things and more often or not they land on something that is great. So don't be surprised if some of the seasonals don't meet your tastes, you cant find new things if you are not experimenting, plus their main line up is awesome so there is always good beer.
