A - Poured into a pint it appears a semi see thru brown color with a nice tan head.
S - Malty, carmel and a bit of maple
T - Sweet malty flavors, a little toasty and a hint of maple.
M - Medium feel and crisp creamy finish.
O - This is one of the better Mt. Carmel brews and a pretty good brown ale.

This is a bold brown ale, one with a very strong nut flavor. The maple isn't as strong as I expected, but it does add just enough sweetness. The roasted malt tastes great, and there seems to be a bit of a coffee note in there as well. The mouthfeel is pretty much spot on, as the beer, for as rich and heavy as it is, goes down smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is a very good brown ale, but the nut flavor is a bit more pronounced than in many others within the style. This isn't terribly expensive and it's worth trying for sure.
