Our India Pale Ale is orange in color, entering with a pine hop aroma, followed by a rich malty body with hints of sweet biscuit, leaving with a lasting spicy hop finish.

Pours orange/golden in color with a fluffy white head on top. Its flavor is Piney and somewhat sharp with some subtle citrus notes and a definitively strong malt backbone for a beer of its style. Big heady lacings throughout. This beer is better than I'd thought it would be.

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet, biscuit malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of biscuit malts along with bits of sweetness and hints of cocoa nibs. There are also some notes of spicy hops in the finish, which contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a little maltier compared to the typical IPAs these days.

Hops, citrus, and pine are the main notes in this beer. Would be much better if not for the metallic taste in the finish. Another reviewer described this iron-like taste as bloody, and I would have to agree with that. Not particularly impressed with this one, but I love other brews from Mt. Carmel.

This offering from Mt. Carmel is ok....nothing to rave about. The beer poured a cloudy orange with this white head that is not leaving much of a lace. The scent has some bitterness with orange peel zeal. The taste is a fight between sweet mat and bittering hops....finish bitter. The mouhfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its more like an English style IPA than American.

IPA - Mt. Carmel Brewing Company. Poured from the glass into a pint glass, this brew's head is three fingers thick with a very frothy head , solid lacing, and a deep golden body.
I smell a fair amount of hops with this one. Not much else going on here.
Tastes like the piney hops mentioned on the label, along with very bright malts. With a metallic aftertaste, pretty close to blood to be entirely candid. I kinda like this, if we're having a truth party. This being said, the metallic aftertaste is VERY subjective to each individual drinker.
The mouthfeel of this beer is smooth and crisp.
Overall, I'll give IPA - Mt. Carmel Brewing Company a 4.5 If the blood-like copper taste didn't show up in the taste, I'm sure I would have rated this up higher.
