pours orange. cloudy and carbby. levels to a decent head. just under two fingers.
dissipates abput halfway down the pint. decent far spaced lacing.
yeasty. and wheaty.being a wiess its not unexpected, the yeast and grains come thru
also a hint of orange peel. nice summer smelling white beer.
very grainy, wheat is first, then a bit of something nutty, and then it exits just pure citrus, orange peel and wheat, oats maybes. a good solid tasting wiess. not too sharp or sour, but it has some bite, and doesnt have any of the overpowering "band aid flavours" that some other wiess have for what ever reason.
starts sharp, the carb levels reaosnably quick, so its a short sharpness,
it goes down without bitterness or dryness, it isnt slick or heavy,
has a good aftertaste and drinks easily.
Im a big fan of wiess, I took a risk on this buying a 6 pack, I often have enjoyed the oktoberfest seasonal offering from paulaner, looking forward to it's quality, I grabbed this wiess on a chance it was also good, which was correct, It unfortunatly is just abit more yeasty than id prefer from a wiess, that is why it didnt score higher, although, I do enjoy it and could see myself buying it again, but, if available there are other wiess I would prefer, but, overall I'd reccomend it for wiess lovers, nothing offensive about it, just a bit different, pretty decent either way.

Sampled last night on 7/21/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a "Cheers-Boston' handled glass stein.
Pours a hazy golden pour with a good 2- finger thick head that lasted a while. Left lots of lacing when sipped. Smells of wheat with sweet orange and spice. The taste was pretty much the same and on the sweet side. Very easy to drink and no bad aftertaste. Hefeweizens are all over the board and this one is one of the best!

Poured a nice deep golden color with two fingers of fluffy white head. Quite nice in appearance and very true to form. Scents of clove-like phenols, banana-like esters, hints of bubblegum and some doughy, bready wheat malt. A good aroma that is true to style, though not standout. Flavor begins with a nice sweet banana flavor with hints of clove and grainy malt balancing. In the middle light bubblegum flavors join the banana and clove and add depth. Finish is semi-sweet, with notes of banana, clove, bubblegum and grainy malt. Aftertaste is grainy wheat malt and clove. A good, though basic hefeweizen flavor profile. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with high carbonation and a smooth, creamy feel. Quite pleasant and very true to style. Overall this is a good basic hefeweizen that hits the main notes of the style, though it doesn't do a great deal to standout. Still a nice beer and very refreshing in Summer.
