A - The brew pours a radiant hazed golden-caramel hue and is capped with a moderate sized ecru head.
S - The nose is banana, spice and sweet wheat, the requisite elements; it also is quite pale grainy and mineral-y.
T - The taste reinforces the dynamic found in the aroma with this brew exhibiting nearly as much Lager character as Hefeweizen. Banana, spice and the like are dialed down, even in comparison to the nose; alternately, the pale grain huskiness and mineral notes are strengthened. It does not taste bad by any stretch of the imagination; it does seem, however, a bit off-style.
M - The feel is a bit too prickly and not creamy enough, though the weight is just about right.
O - This is a decent beer but there are literally a half-dozen widely available examples of the style that are better.
