Great Hefeweiss. Anyone who enjoys this style Weiss beer will enjoy this. Not the best,(I think that distinction belongs to Weihenstephaner) but very enjoyable nonetheless. I completely recommend this beer for Weiss fans or those who are interested in trying a new style of beer.

Appearance: Light brown/golden, cloudly, with a one finger head.
Smell: A big wheat and malt smell.
Taste: A healthy portion of wheat and malt starts this one out, followed by banana and spices. Really thrist-quenching brew.
Mouthfeel: Really blossoms on the pallate.
Drinkabilty: A beer for all occasions. This hefe will serve any purpose you'd like.

This has a murky caramel color -- a classic characteristic of hefeweizen. Awesome smell with a slight bitterness and a hint of banana goodness. Full bodied and flavor. The bitterness present in smell is not present in the taste. Not carbonated water like some other brews. Really easy to drink, a definitely hefeweizen for the summer. Finishes more pronounced than it starts.

Another good introductory beer for those looking getting in the hefe style. Serving type was bottle, poured a cloudy golden color with nice foam head, retention was pretty good.

Very balanced taste of fruits, malted wheat and a very slight spice aftertaste. Goes down very smoothly. Medium to low body and carbonation. Overall, a highly recommended beer.

By far my favorite Hefe.

This beer just screams at you. It says..."I am a German Hefe Weizen!". The aroma is strong ripe banana and mild clove. Either for breakfast or as a refreshing drink on a hot day, this beer is smooth to go down and makes you forget the troubles you have.

High carbonation, beautiful color, a head that rolls.

Paulaner leads the field in Hefe's, try one and you'll see why.

I decided to test the Paulaner Natural Wheat against the Pryamid Hefe-weissen this evening to see which is better.

A- Holy carbanation. This beer had a huge head on it and it was definitely a highly carbonated beer like I expect from a Hefe. Beautiful straw color and cloudy.

S- Nice crisp smell to the beer. Immediately made me look forward to drinking the beer.

T- Banana taste to it. The wheat is easy to taste and it comes through in the beer.

M- Definitely activated the sweet taste buds. A nice thick feel to the beer.

D- It is a little bit heavy and filling. Due to the thickness of the beer I don't think I could sit and finish off a six pack.

This is a really good hefe to compare other wheat beers to. It is a good solid beer that is easy to drink and looks good.

When pouring this beautiful wheat beer, the first thing I notices was a dominate wheat and fruity aroma followed by a light wheat foam with hints of amber and dissaped moderately and kept a small ring till the end of the session. The color was a beautifull hazy and cloudy honey gold. Taste was very wheaty, fruity/orange, a nice hops balance and a very light nutty undertone. Mouthfeel was a medium-bodied and smooth. Drinkability was very excellent.

Have had this many times over the years. Pours a cloudy orange with a good head. Typical cloves and banana flavors. Taste of mostly banana and some clove. Very easy to drink. A great session hefe-weizen. This is a good beer to introduce new peopl to that style of beer. Can never go wrong with it.

An excellent standard for hefeweizens. Easy to drink and flavorful. With a lemon garnish or without, it won't dissapoint if you're a fan of this style. Not terribly complex, but perfectly balanced and supremely drinkable.

A - Gold yellow, white head.
S - usual banana clove, wheat
T - smooth and full flavors, very evenly balanced. Clove bite at the start, Banana aftertaste. An even wheat like flavor across the board connects them all together.
M - clean, bubbly.
D - excellent. A few of these and some German fare, and you're all set.

This beer doesn't have much of an aroma.
The appearance is nice and saturated. It's also foggy.
It has a fairly strong wheat beer taste, with a poor aftertaste.
The mouthfeel is great, but is slightly too bubbly.
I would not buy a six pack of Hefe-Weisen Natural Wheat beer.

This is a very nice all round beer. Pours a orange tinged amber color with a small head that recedes leaving nice lacing on the glass.
The taste reminds me of citrus with hints of cloves. A very smooth, creamy mouthfeel has it going down very easy. I just bought my first 6pack of this recently and this is going down very well. With the limited local selection of beer this will certainly find its way into the rotation.
