Finally got some more use out of my Weizen glasses.

This beauty poured a opaque orange yellow, with a nice head and lacing, typical of the style.

The aroma was wonderful. Full of banana and cloves with spices and a dash of citrus notes made this one hard to get away from my nose.

This beer really hits those banana and clove flavors very well. Finishes with a lemon and citrus twang that begs for more. One the best Hefeweizen's I've had to date!

The feel of this beer is good as well with a some medium body.

This has high drinkability written all over it. The only thing that gets to me about this beer is that it is filling. Despite this, it is still a superb beer.

Poured this golden colored beer into a pint glass. The foam that came with the beer was a great bliss. The smell of wheat, coliander, cloves and good beer great the nose. The taste follows suit in this beer and overall presents a great beer to have anytime of the year no matter what the weather is like outside.

Poured this one into a weihenstephan 500ml wheat beer glass.

A- Pours a slightly cloudy mellow gold, with about 2 inches of bubbly white head that subsides quickly for a weizen. some lacing. looks good.

S- a touch of banana, some citrus and sweetness, a touch of clove, again pretty good.

T- much like the nose, banana, citrus and a touch of sweetness, some clove. nice.

M- some nice prickly carbonation straight up, nice weight for a hefe, on the lighter side of mid-bodied. length is alright.

O- a very good, very drinkable hefeweizen, lacks the complexity of the best, but is still very nice.

.33 L bottle into a 1/2 L weiss glass

A - tawny amber yellows and copper, lively activity with a pillowy head, very little lacing

S - fruity sugars, peach and banana. honey wheat, very light on the hops and clove

T - Mild sweetness with a slight citrus finish

M - light and refreshing, perhaps a tad under-carbonated for a perfect score but no less easy drinking

O - Really great staple of the style would go for this again no problem

Beer poured a very cloudy light golden/yellow capped with a .25 inch head that stubbornly held on better than I expected in a wheat.

Smell was all ripe bananas and oven-warm bread.

Taste was delicious, with warm inviting wheat and mild bread flavors. Just excellent.

Mouthfeel was smooth, almost creamy with a dry finish

very nice

a very nice Hefe
poured ,in the wrong glassware..ugh, hazy yellow with a decent 1 inch head that was fizzy but stuck around for a fair amoutn of time.
smell was faint but yeasty, hints of lemon, wheat and slight spice aromas. coriander/clove.
taste was a nice hit of the spice up front but not too much followed by the yeasty flavors and hints of citrus/lemon peel.
easy to drink, smooth yet finishes crisp from the perfect carbonation. very pleasant

I love every beer I have had from Paulaner and this one proved no different. A dark gold, even orange or amber color with a nice fluffy white head. Very cloudy as well. Smell was strong smell of bananas. Taste was good, with flavors of bread, bananas, and the slightest citrus spice. Mouthfeel was good and crisp. Overall this is a wonderful hefe. Crisp and refreshing, yet offers a wide range of flavor.

Pours a hazy orange/yellow with a creamy white head, amazing retention and lacing. Had mine with no lemon this time. Big aromas of clove, spice, banana, with some faint hops in the tail as well. Flavors are heavy on banana, clove, cardamom, with a surprising representation of malt and hops. Good mouthfeel and perfect carbonation. It has all the elements of a classic Weiss beer but enough flavors in there to remind you of the malt and hops. Highly quaffable. This is just a great Hefe, nuff said.
