Presentation: 12oz Euro style brown bottle with a freshness date stamped on the lower right hand corner of the label.
Appearance: Crystal clear shimmering bright pale golden brew, the mid-sized bubbles race to the top to keep the white lace in good form.
Smell: Fresh baked bulky rolls come to mind, malt sweetness is present as well as a delicate herbal hop aroma. Fresh aromatics entice the nose.
Taste: Very smooth and increasingly crisp mouth feel within the deceptive medium body. Swirling malt flavours wrap around the taste buds leaving bread crust flavours, very well structured malt profile with a lightness yet not lacking in complexity at all. Hops are solely one flavour that is like a wave in the tide of bitterness, perfectly round bitterness blankets the palate with a balancing effect. Herbal hop flavour surrounds the tongue with a soft and pleasant taste throughout. Clean other than some low level grainy husk flavour, alcohol is faint but slightly warming. Fresh cut hay in the mouth during the finish, not dry and not sweet but somewhere in between (even though it says extra dry on the label this is still not a "dry" beer compared to other lager or pilsners in around the world).
Notes: Tasty little pils here, well place flavours and relatively delicate other than the husk character. A clean and fresh example to the euro pilsner style and great for someone that wants to jump ship from the big macro lager freighter.

Very pale, light straw color to the body and topped with a soft, foamy white head. Crisp, bright light grain notes in the aroma; dry grass. Slightly herbal flavor with a rather mild, light grain taste with a fairly bold hop bitterness. Light, crisp, clean and dry mouthfeel.
Nothing extraordinary as far as things go yet definitely drinkable and refreshing. Classic light malt and hop bitterness combination that will certainly satisfy folks looking for this traditional style of lager.
