A very good tasty creamy-like beer. W/O a doubt one of Germany's finest breweries. Have been to Munich and tasted a Paulaner first-hand and must say the bottles I brought home are even better and tastier than their tap version.

Very smooth and mild tasting which only gets better as one consumes. I believe I paid 1 euro for this 1/2 pint beer.

A: Dark wood stain brown, fine beige foam, semi-transparent, lots of carbonation.

S: Molasses, dark brown toffee, slight coffee, slightly like a weizen bock with an almost Belgian like yeastiness.

T: Mild, creamy, weizen bock like taste with lots of creamy foam, brown sugar, toasted malts, little coffee. A little coriander, prunes.

M: Light body with heavy creamy foamy carbonation.

O: Smooth, creamy, light and delicious, mild hefe tastes and somewhat the texture of a cappuccino. Refreshing and beautifully dark. I prefer more flavour, but really like this one for what it is. Would go well with chocolate, as a summer sipper, chocolate based dessert.

A: Pours a cloudy brown that is quite beautyful, with a cream head and good retention.

S: Banana and some citric smells with some spices.

T: Follows the smells with banana and citric feels, but with a lot of bread and herbal flavours.

M: Spicy and refreshing with some tropical banana and citric aftertaste.

O: A very balanced beer, not too watery and not too heavy, but exactly in the middle experience. A very good beer with a real soul.

T^his beer pours a nice medium dark brown with a medium head. It smells of fruit and spice. It tastes of fine malts-fruity and spicy. It is a bit thin in the mouth with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Its color is nice but I expected a yeast haze that I did not get perhaps it was just all stuck to the bottom of the bottle. Definatly on the sweet side for a hefe.
