Surprisingly different from their Münchner Hell. Aroma like fresh baked multigrain bread. Nice grainy malt. Hops more bitter than earthy or floral. A bit of citrus. Great smooth mouthfeel though, maybe a little fuller than the Hell, but very smooth. Overall a good Bavarian Helles, but not the best.

L- Bright clear gold, pours with 3mm ultra-fine white head.
S- Mild, briefly noted grains and then after couldn't find it again.
T- Starts really mild, then builds into a moderately richer and moderately hoppy palate.
F- Richer than a 'standard lager', meatier, as a result the hop-level almost seems to get reined in. Would handle being served well chilled.
O- If you are a year-round lager drinker this one might bring a bit more reward in colder months. It has nothing I note out of place or balance, and is sessionable. The flip-side is that there is IMHO nothing that special about it that would make me buy it again. 500ml bottle BB: 03/2020. Bought from BeersOfEurope in England.

Clear golden with almost no head. Aroma is mostly grainy with some bread sweetness. Taste follows with the malt being more prominent, quite bready, clean, more balanced on the finish. Medium minus body with medium carbonation. Decent lager but very one noted.
