Poured from 22 oz. bottle into Duvel tulip glass.
Appearance: Deep amber red with a lot of bubbles. Big tan bubbly head slowly fades into light tan layer. Decent lacing.
Smell: Strong scent of roasted caramel malts, spice, and bready yeast followed by a hint of hops.
Taste: Sweet roasted caramel malts up front followed by banana, spices and a touch of hop bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with a medium to high carbonation. Creamy and smooth.
Overall: A decent version of a bock.
Serving type: bottle
