A - clear body looks like dark apple juice (or like apple juice with a reddish tint to it) w/ off white yellow foamy head. 2 finger head dissipated rather quickly, but left heavy lacing and kept a thin ring throughout.
S - Yeast, grains, and sweet malts. Very basic, nothing crazy, but it's all there. Like bread, a lot like
T - Sweet, very sweet. Caramel presence. Slightly sour in the aftertaste (sour dough?).
M - Well carbonated, sticky. Thin and even a bit watery, but the sweetness helps this as does the sticking to the palate. Very smooth and lively carbonation. Creamy as you progress through it. Also, there is a definite warming presence on the way down due to the alcohol, but none is really there in the nose so watch out!
D - Very light body, and probably the most easily drinkable doppelbock I've had yet. I could see my self having several of these with a meal or on their own. Also - very cheap! <$2.50 for a 0.5L bottle!
