A big ol' can in a big ol' glass. I can smell the gemutlicht from here. Pours a goldent color with a big ol' white foamy head that makes me wish I had a mustache. Smells earthy and of bananas and a whole lotta good. Taste is even better. Slightly nutty, slight banana, a hint of sweet and a dry finish. The mouthfeel is soft and buttery. This is a great marzen, a great wheat beer, and just a wonderful, refreshing drink. Daddy like.

Pours a clean, clear, golden color. There is a white frothy head, about two fingers of it, that soon settles to only a halo around the edge.
Not much to the nose, there are however some malts and grains to be picked up.
The beginning is neutral, slight sweetness, followed by a balanced body, some more bitterness perhaps, coming to a nicely bittery finish.
Nothing special, but still enjoyable.

330 ml bottle into dimpled mug, best before 5/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of bread, toast, cracker, honey, pear, apple, light caramel, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance of malt, yeast ester, and hop notes; with good strength. Taste of bread, toast, cracker, pear, apple, honey, light caramel, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of bread, toast, cracker, pear, apple, honey, light caramel, light pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a bit. Damn nice balance and robustness of malt and yeast ester flavors; with no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Oktoberfest style. All around great balance and robustness of malt and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
