Conveniently located about 1/3 mile south of I-85 in Gwinnett County, Beverage SuperStore has far more floor space devoted to wine and liquor than beer, but has a respectable selection of craft beer nonetheless. Their offerings include many from Georgia breweries. There are plenty from other US breweries, including Anchor, Stone, Lagunitas, Weyerbacher, Smuttynose, Victory, Bells and Dogfish Head. Their selection of imports is large enough to be interesting and includes Unibroue as well as beers from relatively unusual locations such as Poland and Africa. They seem to get a changing variety of less common UK beers (e.g., Cains last year).

Prices tend to be a little lower than specialty shops (e.g., Hop City) around the Atlanta area. The staff is friendly, but some know little about beer (typical for liquor store employees).

This is really close to my house, The closest larger beer and liquour store in Gwinnett County. Not the best but they do try to carry stuff people want. Lately they have just started an email that tells you when they stock newer beers. Just about every week or two the get newer stuff and they even send prices, beer reviews (mind you from the vendor I'm sure) and ABVs.

I've asked for help when I was looking for something and the staff is pretty knowledgeable, only problem is if you don't ask they leave you alone.

They have some beers in the cooler and others warm. They even carry some assortment packs so you don't have to get a whole six-pack. A bunch of High Grav stuff now that it is available in GA.

Went by this place the other day after work to scope it out and to re-stock the fridge.

Nice stucco freestanding building. Went in and the beer is located in the back. The right side of the store seems to be devoted to wine and the left is liquor with the beer in the back. There seems to be a mixture of beers in the cooler and warm beers on the shelf. Plenty of Belgians, Germans and American micros, and of course, your standard swill.

Service was practically non-existent. I don' think I was even acknowledged when I walked in and the only person who spoke to me was the cashier.

Selection is pretty average. Didn't really blow my hair back, but it wasn't bad for the Suwanee area. Pretty reasonably priced too. Overall, not a bad place to go in a pinch, but there are definitely better stores in the metro area.

Located just off of I-85 in Gwinnett County, Beverage SuperStore offers a respectable range of craft beer offerings including, of course, a nice representation of the Georgia breweries. Plenty of Stone, Weyerbacher, Smuttynose, Victory, vintage J.W. Lees Harvest Ale, and Dogfish Head, as well as some smaller, lesser known breweries like Warbird and Saint Somewhere. Prices were fairly comparable to most store in and around the Atlanta area. Also, I found the staff to be friendly, which is fairly uncommon for me, as usually liquor store employees are unhelpful, unknowledgeable, surly, and completely deserving of a good, hard slap in the mouth. Not here though, so that's a plus!

Huge Liquor/Wine/Beer warehouse on Hwy 317 just off of I-85. Nice selection for this location "pretty" north of the Perimeter. Beer cooler was along the back wall and had quite a bit of doors. Room temp stacks were back in this area as well. Lots of Yuengling, Terrapin Big Hoppy Monster, Sweetwater Festive Ale. Behind this stack was a nice display of Belgians and US Crafties. The only brands that I haven't seen @ Green's/Toco/Decatur Wine & Spirits were- RJ Rockers, Thomas Creek Class V IPA, and the just released Full Sail Wassail.

I visited this store for the first time this week, and I was fairly impressed, as it had the best beer selection I've seen so far in my neck of the woods. Good overall beer selection, with a nice choice of brews from the local guys (Red Brick, Sweetwater) along with the better craft brewers, ie, DFH, Redhook, Sierra Nevada, and brand new to GA, Stone Brewing. Picked up a 4 pack of DFH Punkin Ale and a sixer of Left Hand Octoberfest. Good variety of Sammy too. Nice selection of European singles, as afar as I could tell. The beer section is on the small side, but they manage to squeeze in a lot of quality brews in that space. Friendly staff too; I went there 3x this week, and each time someone passed by within a minute asking if I had any questions. A worthwhile stop for those living in Gwinnett County.

This store is just a couple blocks off of I-85 at exit 111 just north of Atlanta. The store is mostly about wine, but there is a fairly good selection of beers towards the back of the store. The whole back wall is a beer cooler were I found some Old Chub (not available in SC) and 24oz Sierra Nevada Harvest Ales for $2.99 a definite steal in my opinion. Sweetwater, the local Alanta brewery, is well repsented with 420, IPA and Blue stacked to the ceiling. I picked up a couple liter bottles of their 2007 Festive ale while I was there. The selection of Belgians is also good. Very friendly and helpful staff. A worthwhile stop if you are in the area.

The store is nice and large and the beer coolers are in the back. They have their own high grav section that offered a nice varied selection of different breweries and styles. Overall I thought their selection was nice and sure would keep me in good stock without having to drive all the way into Atlanta as this store is only about 15 minutes or so from my house.

For 55 dollars I bought the following
2 Bombers Rouge Chocolate Stout
2 Bombers Rouge Shakespeare Stout
1 Old Yeti Imperial Stout
1 Old Yeti Oak Imperial Stout
2 Bombers Hennipen Ale
6 pack Sweetwater Georgia Brown Ale
6 pack Anchor Porter

I thought this was a pretty good value though I don't think my wife would agree
Overall I thought this was a good store to get what I needed

Overall, I would not seek out this store again. It was at best a utility store. Basically all beer is cold, the staff will help you find warm cases if they have it, but it is definitely hit or miss. You can easily miss a door of higher gravity beers as it is away from the regular micros. Sweetwater which I had assumed they would have large quantities of was limited to 1 3/4 cases warm of the IPA and 420. I was able to get a case of Loose Cannon, but I was told that was because they just came in and had not had a chance to put them in the cooler. Belgian selection was good, and had more warm offerings. Also, Terrapin American Imperial Pils was on a stack up front.

No case prices on beer, just 4x six pack price, seemed a bit absurd considering they are a superstore.

Definitely wasn't wowed by this one and will consider budgetting time to get to Greens next time. Help was friendly.

This shop is right off of I-85 around 40 minutes from Atlanta. Good looking store with lots of room. They do focus a little more on wine than beer but have a great selection of beer. They have a large cooler with almost nothing but Belgians and a couple of racks with room temp. Belgians. The entire back wall is coolers with beer. They probably have six hundred different beers. The biggest letdown is that they don't sell singles other than the Belgians. The staff is very friendly. They have always been around to ask me if I need help. A local brewery was about to release a seasonal while I was there and the beer manager was nice enough to hold a case for me (which ended up being half of what they had in stock). All around enjoyable place. The only problem is that I always end up packing up two buggies and spending all of my money.
