This beer pours a hazy, copper color with thick tan foam. The lacing lasts throughout. The aroma is brandy, raisins, wood, and toast. It's flavor has toast, licorice, and fruit-like brandy notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and medium. Woodstock Pemi Pale Ale is a decent beer. Hoppy like an IPA but not overbearing. Recommended.

Bottle from beer of the month club. Pours ruby with small head. Aroma is interesting. Strong citrus and floral hops mixed with buttery caramel malt. Very buttery smell. Flavor follows the smell closely. Very floral hop flavor here, similar profile to Celebration, but with a buttery caramel addition. Strange finish of malt though. Lightish mouthfeel with adequate prickle from the carbonation. Not bad.
