Poured from a 12oz bottle, code is 128514, not sure how to read that.

Pours a hazy gold body, lots of lacing and a long lasting head. Aroma and flavor fall short though as it`s dominated by a malty and biscuity profile and bitterness is astringent but without flavor to back it up.

Not expecting much, as this brewery has been mostly meh.

Pours a smaller fizzy head covering, fades at a med pace with surprisingly nice lacing, little sediment, hazy, reddish orange color.

Nose is herbal hops, earthy and a bit leafy grassy, mild herbal tea and slight vegetal, some earthy bitter, more U.K. style bitter. mild sweet malt base.

Taste starts with sweet malts, a little candy syrup and some caramel, mild toasty flavors too. Then hops, quite bitter, earthy herbal hops, spicy, chewy hops, some vegetal herbal hop characters with a little leafy grassy note, but so chewy spicy bitter hops. In the middle is a quick flash of honey, straight up strong honey flavor, then quickly back into the chewy hops. Also a mild apple like fruity flavor on the back end. Finish is long bitterness, a bit astringent as it's so bitter, more herbal earthy spicy hops, that's about it.

Mouth is med bod, plenty of carb.

Overall meh, more like the old style IPAs from actual Imperial U.K. with the herbal vegetal grassy earthy hops, very bitter, some malt backbone that even that can't balance it, nothing too bad but it also doesn't really have anything going for it.
