BlueEcho and I visited the Woodstock Inn after a nice, but chilly hike up Cannon Mtn. The stained wood interior provided a bright and warm feel for the inns bar and dining area. It would provide a perfect apres ski setting. The wait staff was friendly, and seemingly knowledgeable - although I didn't try to stump them. There were six beers on tap. The menu was extensive and diverse, although we only can comment on the quality of the Onion blossum. I look forwrad to retuninng to the inn for a full meal and an exploration of their offerings.

The beers at the brewery tend to be more enjoyable to drink than they are from the bottle. It may be because many of the bottle ones are brewed under contract bu another brewery. The eatery is part of the Common Man chain of high quality restaurants in New Hampshire. There are some unique but also some old stand-by meals to choose from off the menu. Soup in a bread bowl is always a good choice.
