Pours a black color. 1/5 inch head of a tan color. Slight retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong chocolate, sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, alcohol, hint of yeast, and a hint of honey. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong roasted malt, strong chocolate, sweet malt, int of yeast, slight alcohol, and a hint of honey. Overall, weak appearance, good aroma, body, blend, and feel.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. freshness code is partially smudged, and the rest is impossible to comprehend.
looks great. jet black body, generous oatmeal colored head. excellent lacing.
aroma is kinda winey, some dried fruit. no chocolate whatsoever.
taste is slightly sour, cherry-like. Not really unpleasant, just not as advertised, might be a fairly old bottle. Not sweet, no spices. some roasted malt.
Only between thin and medium on the mouth. tart cherry and some roasted malt on the finish.
overall, as noted above, doesnt taste bad, just not the chocolate honey beer advertised. clear freshness dating would help

L: Pours dark brown to almost black.
S: Dark malts. Chocolate and roasted nuts.
T: Bittersweet chocolate, with a touch of honey. Some spicy hops just in the background.
F: A little light for the ABV but it's very smooth and easy to drink.
O: Solid stout that's a little on the sweeter side. I'd drink it again.

12 ounce bottle - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Greenville, South Carolina.
Appearance: Slips out a black body crowned with two inches of tan-hued suds.
Smell: A leading sniff of soy sauce, as well as roasted malts, clearance chocolate, burnt sugars and spiced honey candy.
Taste: It's sweet, moderately so. Hinting of honey sweet, even. Sweetness is blunted by roastiness with some low-grade chocolate. Very mild spice element for a little, low pepper note. A bit of umami. Sweetish, honey-roast finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Fairly smooth mouthfeel.
Overall: At best it's so-so.
