12 Fl. Oz. bottle
Served in a snifter

This beer pours a ruddy shade of orange. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves some decent lacing.

It has a malty and sweet aroma. I get some toast.

The taste is caramel and biscuit. It is balanced with the perfect amount of hops.

Medium mouthfeel

This beer is hitting the spot on a rainy spring day. It is nothing earth shattering but a solid ale.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a fine ruddy red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about less than a minute. Light lacing roamed around the glass. The smell started off with a dry roasty caramel note and then allowed a decent sweet nuttiness to roll underneath my nose. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was definitely there with a basking sharpness but nothing overbearing. There was a light dry caramel aftertaste and finish. Overall, I say this was a decent Irish Red ale I could do again

12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy copper with some clarity to it; fluffy light khaki head that fades leaving nice bubbly retention and okay lacing. The aromas are malt forward along with some hints of caramel. The flavors are clean and refreshing. More caramel with some hints of toffee. Some fresh bread in the mix. Malts do their thing. Finishes clean. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is great. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a really nice Irish red ale. It's not flashy, but it's not supposed to be. It's a nice traditional example of the style. I really like it.
