The color for an amber should be coppery brown and this one is orange with golden hues. It's lovely , hazy and pastel with a fat head fo off white foam that lasts. Hops are definitely prominent on the palate and it offers some downright heady pink grapefruit, In fact I am in love with that. it's so authentic. It's perfumey and it has a bit of pith and peel. There is a caramel malt with some light and dry biscuit on it. A touch of herbal in the background faintly. The taste is lovely. Light caramel, smooth dry flaky biscuit, a bit of tartness and then the perfumey sweetness of the pink grapefruit translates to the palate. Earthy, fruit peel. A medium mouthfeel . No astringency but a moderate bitter that surprisingly leaves plenty of that pink grapefruit to linger with it's provocative sweetness and a light bit of caramel
I liked this one a lot.
