Notes/Commercial Description:
This beer is made with one grain and 4 Belgian yeasts, a deceptive golden color, and a malty palate lend complexity to this Belgian Trippel Ale.

Pours a muddled orange with a touch of sediment. Very little head with slight lacing. Apple and pear dominate the aroma. More apple and pear in the taste with some strawberry as well, mild yeast flavors, and honey, quite a sweet beer. Medium to heavy body, with a touch of carbonation. Slight alcohol kick at the end.

Poured into a Funky Buddha Brewery snifter. No readable freshness date.

A- Pours a semi-hazy dark amber color with nearly no head, just a paper-thin ring around the edge of the glass and minimal surface foam.

S- Sharp, boozy aroma of Belgian yeast. A bit of spice, some malt sweetness and maybe a hint of oxidation.

T- Flavor is considerably better than the aroma with a nice dose of Belgian candi sugar and some lightly toasty malt. Also some more spice and the alcohol starts creeping in after multiple sips are taken. Minimal hop bitterness.

M- Slick feel with some vibrance from the spice and alcohol. Medium-low carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- Well this beer started out quite lame but made a quick turnaround. Certainly not one of the best Tripels I've ever had but it disguises the alcohol pretty well and has some nice character to it.

Poored from a 12 oz. bottle.

A - A pretty, deep orange. Very hazy. Half a finger of head which fades quickly and no lacing.

S - Pears, oranges, a sweet maltyness. Definitely some alcohol present.

T - Very sweet. Tastes like sipping on a white wine. Grape, pear, apples, with an alcohol finish. Any bitterness that is present is overpowered by the sweetness.

M - Light bodied. Good carbonation.

O - Decent beer, not my favorite though. I prefer more of the bubblegummy yeast flavors in tripels as well as a dry, bitter finish. This is a bit too sweet for my liking.
