A: Pours a rich ruby color with an unremarkable head.

S: Here is the beer's greatest strength--the raspberry scent is remarkable. Make sure to pour the beer into a glass (obviously) as the smell is what makes the taste.

T: The taste is not complex, and while the raspberry is a bit too sweet, it's refreshing and the raspberry tastes fresh and natural.

M: Somewhat crisp, it's not too thin but still manages to be a great session beer. Perfect for summer.

Overall: With a low ABV, an incredible smell, and a great mouthfeel, this is a simple craft beer worth trying and enjoying with friends in July or August. It will be hard to have just one.

It's yellow and fizzy, so I acknowledge from the outset that it's initial pour is unlikely to wow observers. More careful watchers will, however, notice the thin film of residual carbonation that lays atop this liquid. Five full minutes after the pour, you'll find a solid layer of thin foam topping this beer.

The smell strikes me as synthetic in origin; nevertheless, it smells like a raspberry fruit beer. I am quick to punish fruit beers who fail to smell good. If there's one thing fruit beers should have over all other beers, it's an appealing aroma. Undoubtedly, this beer has it.

Concentrated syrup amidst light pilsner sorta reigns my taste buds. I assure you I would never produce or subsidize such a concoction. Still, it tastes refreshing. I'd rather
a beverage err on too much flavor. It hits the tongue tip like a Starburst before blending into a well-carbonated, mild yet impactful fruit beer. It's tough for me to call a syrupy pilsner good, but that's the best descriptive I can offer for its taste

Mouthfeel is good as well, again in part to the carbonated, syrupy quality to the beer. It's a beer parfait. Everybody loves parfaits. It's Beer Cheerwine. It's certainly good, but a sample will serve the purpose.

Appearance: hazy, 1/4 inch head, bright golden yellow in color, moderate carbonation

Smell: sweet raspberries

Taste: sweet raspberries bit of honey

Mouthfeel: sweet, light bodied, high carbonation

Drinkability: A nice and sweet summer treat. I could throw back several. This is a fruit beer that still tastes like beer and the raspberries taste natural.

Pours a golden color beer, was a little disappointed there wasn't any raspberry noticeable in the appearance, flimsy 1/3" white head disappears rather quickly. I liked the raspberry aroma, was very nice.

Flavor tastewise, was very thin body, overly sweet, didn't get the raspberry flavor, more like a candied confection they sell out of an ice cream or candy truck. The beer was all over the place, if I could only smell it, it would be cool. But the overall lack of any 'beer' qualities and the crushing sweetness without any malt depth or quality left me wanting to share it more than drink it.

Drank while camping in Truckee, the night before the Solar Eclipse party.

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a crystal clear body of yellowish-orange and a thick snow white head that turns rocky but last for a bit. There is a sea of tiny bubbles racing up to the surface of this beer.

S- The strong raspberry aroma comes through even during the pour. It is not real chemical but it is also not really a natural raspberry fruit smell. Nothing else can break through the smell of raspberries.

T- There is a big fruity raspberry extract flavor that is dry but not really chemical tasting. There is a soft corn note that has more raw grain hints as the beer warms. No real finish flavor except for the fruity flavor on each exhale.

M- This beer has a light mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.

D- This beer is all about the raspberries which are not to artificial tasting but still big and dominating with no support from any other flavors.

Pours a cloudy gold, with minimal foam and pinky-size lace.

Overpowering aroma of raspberries -- tart and sweet.

Flavor is straightforward, with a bit of a bready/biscuity vibe underneath a mountain of raspberries. Not unpleasant or artificial-tasting, though. Decent, and drinkable, but not one I'd return to, either.

Recent trip to Ohio allowed for a chance to try a sampling from Thristy Dog. The Raspberry Ale poured a clear pale orange with and an initial big white head that settled quickly to a thin layer which left a spotty lace. The smell is dominated by raspberries The taste is a little more well balanced with sweet malts and subtle citrus hops, but raspberry flavor is prevalent. The mouthfeel is light in body with decent carbonation. Overall it would be a great summer beer.

This one was different, it was like someone combined a rasberry tea with beer and it didn't quite blend well. It poured blondishwith an off white head. It wasn't unbearable by any means but it wasn't one I'd run out to get more of, it was just a little off.

When I poured this beer and smelled it I was both excited and worried. It had a very pleasant raspberry smell, but it smelled strong I worried that raspberry was going to be all I could taste.

No so, when drinking it the the raspberry taste, while present, is not too strong. In fact it may be a bit weaker than it should be.

This beer isnt bad, and if you want a fruit beer you could a lot worse, but it did not have a lot of flavor to me.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a Sam Adams Boston Lager BL glass, the beer pours a dark gold color with an inch and a half frothy head. Head retention is good, lacing is average. It smells like raspberries and sugar, not like fresh raspberries but the aroma is still pretty nice. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like a raspberry cereal would taste (some kind of Fruity Pebbles/Fruit Loops mix). A bit fake, but still decent tasting. No offensive flavors at all. Mouthfeel/body is light, a bit watery but smooth. Drinkability is good, it's very easy to drink a few of these. I had no problem drinking 5 of these in a sitting (saving the last bottle to review now), it's very sessionable and the low ABV helps make this easy to drink. It's not worth the $9.99 price tag for a sixer, though. Overall I think it's a good, but not great fruit beer.

A: Light Amber, with a touch of red.. A large white head tops it, with a few chunks of what I hope are raspberries sinking to the bottom.

S: Floral and very very sweet. Strong raspberry scent coming though. Smells like a raspberry syrup, or honey. Seems like it should be a cider.

T: It tastes much like it smells, very sweet with a large amount of raspberry. It ends a little tart with a sour bite. Slightly watery at the end.

M: Crisp, clean, watery.

D: Overall not bad.. not great.. it is tastes a little watered down, but would be good on a hot summer day
