Presentation: 12oz. bottle into a snifter.
A- Deep and dark...essentially black and opaque. Pours with ~1/2 a finger of brown head, which fades quickly to a thin ring and an island of bubbles.
S- Dark, roasty, earthy, coffee....nice. Chocolate/dark fruit/molasses sweetness.
T- Roasty, earthy, coffee, and dark chocolate bitterness. Dark fruit and chocolate sweetness...
M- Moderately low carbonation, with a medium-full feel.
O- Good. Other than being just a tinge lighter in the body than I'd want, this beer is quite stellar.
Future outlook: Good stuff, and a relative value given it's quality and heft...I'll have to snag a few more of these to sock away.
