From Leura. No BB.
Appearance - Black - surprising three finger coarse head.
Smell - muted, wow like really muted - hint of roast, talc.
Taste - muted roast flavours, hint of honey sweetness. No bitterness. Oddly bland, but not offensive.
Mouthfeel - over carbonated for style.
Overall - beer is greater than sum of parts. Good drinking (let down by overcarbonation) but does it have any characteristics you can easily define? nope....

Pours dark brown, almost black, with a large, off-white head.
Nose shows honey, grainy malt, and some soft roasted malt.
Flavours have a little more impact in the way of roasted malt, with some coffee hints showing up, and more honey is present. Unfortunately there's also a huge grainy, cardboard character and overt alcohol which ruins it.
Carbonation is much too high.

Pours a very murky cherry brown with beautiful carbonation that leaves behind a two finger creamy head that stays and clingy lacing here and there, the smell is honey, milky coffee and caramel, the mouthfeel is medium bodied silky smooth and a tad creamy with tastes of caramel, honey, toffee, sticky date pudding,a touch of candy and the finish is creamy smooth honey and overall out of all the beers i have had that claim to have honey added this one you can really tell and i really enjoyed it would drink again and again cheers.

a: dark ruby red color, small head quickly disappears
s: sweet caramel & honey aroma with some spices
t: soft intro with mild sweetness that balances the coffee taste well, coffee lingers a bit
m: softness turns to decent carbonated crispness, medium body
d: not as sweet as some other "sweet porters" i've had, but a very easy-to-drink & mild brew. worth a taste

Appearance nut brown, cloudy with a somewhat uncontrollable beige head which lasts well once it subsides. Aromas of chocolate and raisin, with a strong aroma of Granny Smiths emerging towards the end. Not much honey that I could detect in the aroma, however, the taste had a particular sweetness about it. Good length. Pleasant moderately effervescent mouthfeel.
Overall a pleasant porter, which the honey only adds to subtly. Glad I tried it but I didn't find it particularly moorish.

A - Light brown with orange tints. Pretty big head that settles to a centimetre or so. Medium lacing.
S - Roasted and chocolate malts are dominating the aroma, subtle alcohol notes are present. Can't seem to get much of a honey aroma
T - Like most porters the aromas continue through to the taste. Again the honey seems pretty lacking.
M - Middle of the road carbonation, pretty sweet mouthfeel.
D - A nice porter. I think I'll have to do the task of comparing side by side with their regular porter to see if the honey is there or not. I guess in a lot of honey porters the honey is lacking due to pretty big, flavourful malts.
