Pours a hazy amber with a thin wispy layer of head. Smell is pretty interesting, boiled sweets and caramel along with great pineapple notes, hints of other tropical fruits. A bit sweet.

Taste is noticeably boozy up front and throughout. There are definitely some interesting hop flavors in this - very grassy, pineapple, lemongrass, a bit of berry jam, unmistakable Sorachi Ace weirdness - but you have to pay attention, because mostly it's boozy and harsh, and a bit too sweet. Hints of krispy kreme glaze. Phenolic and weird but probably not many tweaks away from being excellent.

Syrupy. I can see the carbonation in the glass but I feel like I'm drinking port. Long bitter finish. Genuinely interesting beer, but the more you drink the more that phenolic alcohol character and syrupy feel gets in the way of your enjoyment.

Bottle at Beer Deluxe. From notes.

A - Poured super hazy with a copper colour. Gentle carbonation and a film of white head. Spotty lace, no retention.

S - Hoppy, caramel, citrus. Kinda mild for the style.

T - A mess of hops. Resinous, grassy, citrus, booze. Rough and not overly enjoyable.

M - Fairly bitter with mild carbonation and a medium body.

O/D - This beer seemed to have trouble figuring out what it wanted to be. Nothing special with this one as it seemed scattered and all over the place while lacking structure. Not worth it.

Pours a hazy dark amber hue which leaves a two finger bubble laden head and sporadic clingy lacing, the smell is weird its aniseed, gooseberries, herbal hops, spices and caramel malts its definately a first for me this smell and i dont really like it hope taste is better, mouthfeel is just over light bodied and for something of this style and ABV its bad and tastes are a little better with hints of herbal sticky resinous hops, blackberries, gooseberries, marzipan and finished bittersweet with toffee and lychee, overall this is a weird drop and i think with the 25 different hops its way too much and unfortunately i wont be buying this again as age wont do much for it either cheers.

Very cloudy dark amber color with a small and very short lasted head. Not all that good.

Sweet and very syrupy malt n the nose. Clearly a ton of German type caramel malts. Floral citrusy hop aroma with notes of lychee and pineapple. Nice.

From a nice aroma to an intensely sweet and sticky malt character that covers up a hefty bitterness. Clear phenolic character which is disappointing and lingers. The actual hop favors are decent. Berries, lychee, ineptly, mandarin, mango but the sweetness and phenolic hurts.

Full body with moderate carbonation. Somewhat astringent from the phenolic.

A disappointing beer on the whole. This held some promise but the issue is the over use of crystal malt and a fermentation flaw. These problems are unfortunately common in Australian beers and this is no exception.
