Stopped by here to watch a recent soccer game. It wasn't between any English clubs so I guess the interest is much lower. Hardly anyone there but during EPL games and the like, it gets packed from what I hear. Very small place which I bet could get extremely smoky.
4 taps with Guinness being two of them and MGD and Heineken (or some other import macro) being the other. Bottle selection was eclectic to say the least. Some odd imports like Big Boss Porter, Sol, Frambozen, etc. Some random micros. I asked for an IPA, b/c I was in the mood, and the bartender said they didn't carry any. But then I looked and saw many Two Hearted bottles.
Friendly bartender but not the most knowledgeable or service oriented, just a friendly person. No pub grub which is a shame but oh well.
They come here for the soccer and a proper pour of Guinness. I'll be back for sure to catch my favorite EPL teams battling it out at 6 AM on a Saturday.

Stopped in here on a tour of Bayview pubs recently. Never thought much of this place and my recent visit didn't change my opinion.
I don't frequent soccer pubs often so I'm not sure what one is supposed to look like but I assume this is normal. Lots of soccer memorabilia strewn about. Funky paintings in between. Strange Spanish style architecture. My group of friends surmised that the building was a Mexican restaurant in it's past life.
A handful of craft beers but mostly BMC. No taps. Some Milwaukee choices like Lakefront and Sprecher. They had New Holland Dragons Milk which I happily went with. The bartendress was friendly and prompt. I did have to have to ask for a glass. Which is a bit annoying in a "beer bar"
Overall nothing special. I will gladly pass on this place when looking for a beer.

Of the three places that I visited on Kinnickinnic (K.K.), this was the one that I should have skipped. They had no drafts, the bottle list was not up to date, the staff seemed overwhelmed (and it was only a Thursday night), and the music was too loud. Other than that, there was a small stage area on a buttonhook left, the bar was on a left oblique, and there were high tables and chairs against the right wall. Up a short flight of stairs were regular tables and chairs and the washrooms were off to the left, plus a wheelchair ramp out back. There you have it. If I needed a place never to which to return, I found it. Bah!

Hangout for the football (as in soccer) fans. Lots of morning drinking on the weekends for folks to watch live matches from Europe. The place is named for Arsenal's stadium in London. At night, another hopping spot in the hippsterish Bay View neighborhood. Some slightly annoying art and people who enjoy classic hip hop because they feel like they should.
Bottle selection is admirable and heavy on European styles -- lots of bitters, lots of Belgians. There's no handy list, and it's hard for a guy with less-than-sharp eyes to do any label-reading over the bartender's shoulder, through the dim smoke and into the cooler.
Rotating stock of big-number ABV beers, and they let you know what's in house with fliers.
