If I wanted Raspberry syrup in beer, I would have gladly poured some in to a nice German wheat. I think this beer is nasty; fizzy and thin, it was not enjoyable. Hence, I poured half of it into my sink

This was one of the more popular Pete's beers that wasn't their flagship. In fact, I still have the tshirt and pint glass (older label not the one pictured).
Poured a similar color to their wicked ale (brown) and similar degrees of it lacking viscosity and having a degree of clarity despite its darkish color. 1/2" off white head. Ah, they called this a fruit and field beer instead of a winter warmer, I always kind of took it as a winter warmer with some fruit in it, so either designation makes sense. Aroma had a nutmeg, cranberry-raspberry vibe to it.
Taste offered kind of my first foray into a mildly fruited beer that I actually liked. Mild sweetness, smooth, also the first spice rack aspect of a beer I really encountered. Pretty mild taste and mouthfeel of a smooth red/brown ale malt body underneath with the adjuncts slightly in the lead of the flavor profile. Neat little drier than expected back end, raspberries will do that, but generally in lighter beers moreso. Skiing artwork on the new design was ok.
