artificial strawberry flavored malt beverage aimed at chicks and wussies. this is not a good beer. avoid at all costs. the strawberry flavor is "wicked".

This beer poured a light gold color and formed a white head that left little lace. Some carbonation present. The aroma was lightly of hops and stronger of strawberry. The flavor was again, lightly of hops and stronger of strawberry with slight bite to it. Finish was light and sweet. Just not really my style of beer.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a decent white head that, contrary to all other Pete's brews, actually has some retention. Nice strawberry aroma with some actual hops in there as well. Light strawberry notes are the first thing to hit the tongue followed by a faint hop bitterness. The strawberry tones manage to not become overwhelming and the tongue is left with a somewhat crisp feeling on it. This is a fairly drinkable brew and one of the better offerings from Pete's these days.

Strawberry Blonde pours a nice shade of gold, light amber, white head that disappears rather fast. The perfume of strawberries is noticable but not over done. The sweet strawberry aspect of this blonde beer is very secondary. It is actually tart and a little bitter. This is not a wine cooler type beer because there is some malt and hops. Somewhat drinkable... it's okay.

Slighty cloudy yellow color, slight fizzy white head. Strawberry smell is subtle with hop undertones. Flavor is much the same, subtle strawberry flavor, matched with a very light tasting lager. Not overly sweet, very drinkable. I was pleasantly surprised. Not to complicated, just an easy faint strawberry taste. Good summer beer, and yea the girls will like it.

There are hops in this strawberry blonde but they are not overpowering, the strawberry extract is noticable and makes this a good summer drink. Light bodied and a slight hops finish.

Golden hue w/ lager - like clarity, most likely from heavy filtration. Head settles quickly into a tight layer that leaves a sparse lace. Sickly sweet, strawberry extract completely dominates the aroma and overpowers anything else, but somehow I feel there wouldn't be any noteable nuances aromawise anyway. The processed strawberry flavor carries right on through the flavor, and since hop bitterness is minimal, this brew is cloyingly sweet. There's absolutely nothing going on besides the overbearing strawberry syrup taste. The faintest hint of breadiness and hop bitterness is perceptible only in the finish. Strawberry Blonde barely passes for a beer and ventures into alcopop territory.

fairly smooth blonde lager with a touch of strawberry. refreshing and very drinkable. fruity beers are still a little questionable to me, but this one was fine

Appearance: Cloudy pale gold in color with a substantial white head that lingers, lots of lace, little carbonation,

Aroma: Strong aroma of strawberries and cream, lesser grain notes, and a very slight hop note.

Taste: Strawberries are prominent in flavor, although the taste is not overly sweet. Hops and grain notes are present, but understated; the finish is a bit dry. Quite refreshing, a decent warm weather beer.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft on the palate, very nice.

Drinkability/notes: Better than one might think, a very drinkable summer beer.

Presentation: Packaged in a twelve ounce brown glass longneck bottle with a pop off cap, served ina standard pint tap glass.

Clean berry smell, golden in color. The beer has a slight berry finish which is accompanied by a hop bitterness. I was surprised I enjoyed this beer as much as i did... I guess I liked that it was not overly sweet... just a good combination of sweet and bitter in the finish.

Man this was horrid. It wasn't quite a disaster. It was sweet enough. I'm suprised it sells so well for being wattery kool-aid with a shot.

I bit to much strawberry in this one folks. It takes away from the beer. Maybe tiny hints of strawberry, almost when you have to search for it. This thing tasted like a quickie mart slushy! Not one of Pete's better brew's. This is as bad as the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

I'm going to rate this aboue a three for a couple of reasons. The smell of this beer is good. You pour it and you can smell the strawberry, which I actually liked. I found this to be on par with Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. I can't stand the label with the picture of the blonde on it.

Seems like the only reason for this beer to exist is for people who really don't want to drink beer. Really artificial tasting, thin, watery. Of no redeeming social value imho.

Presentation: 12 oz brown logn neck bottle. No freshness date.

Appearance: Clear, golden straw color with a thin pure white head.

Smell: Smell of unsweetened strawberry store brand jam, some dextrin sweetness is a bit cloying. Other than that it has a clean nose.

Taste: Light to medium body with an up front crisp carbonation, thin malt palate with some left over dextrin floating around. Hops are there just to balance the dextrin and strawberry flavour so it does not seem to close to a wine cooler. Thankfully a handful of grain comes through and shows off some beer character, alcohol is slightly noticeable with a touch or warmth. The fruit (strawberry) flavour is not too over done and seems withdrawn compared to the old “Pete’s” version. This brew end towards dryness though it wants to be sweet.

Notes: A fruit beer is a fruit beer, at least this is not a wine cooler. Aimed at the chick beer drinking crowd or the guy who is a girl drink drunk.

Hmm, kind of odd. The candy-like strawberry is barely there, sort of like they threw a cople of Jolly Ranchers into the wort. I'm glad I only bought a single.

Not bad. Nothing spectacular, and it is kind of artificial tasting, but it does taste pretty good.
