Glowing gold with with white film. 4
Butterscotch and cat - suspect. 3.5
Dough and butter, then pine and light passionfruit. 3.75
Round, light, smooth. 3.75
Easy on the hops. Malty smoothness or a touch of diacetyl, not sure; either way, this is more about the Vienna than Simcoe. Balanced and drinkable but nothing shocking. 3.75

12 oz brown bottle.
Poured brilliant golden color, nice head that dissipated after a few minutes leaving a ring around the glass with minor lacing. Smelled a bit catty (To be expected). Bittering was firm, body was a bit thin with a lingering grassy note. Over all not a bad beer that I would drink again.

22oz brown bomber, sample from the brewery.
Decent lacing, dull golden hue. Bready nose with a catty hop smell, thanks Simcoe. Light smoothness, moderate bodied, a little thin on the maltiness. Hint of gumminess, bitterness is mild, grassy hop with a light rind flavor. Kiss of fruit and more bread in the finish. An ok attempt at the single malt / single hop thing.

I enjoyed this amber colored brew on draft, at the Oregon Brewer's Festival. Pours with a thick billowy white head and has lazy lacing. The nose is piney with hops and flirts with some biscuit as well. The taste is straight up hops, lots of citrus. This is a light bodied beer and would pair well with spicy foods. All in all - nice little brew. Cheers!

Appearance – Golden orange in color. Medium carbonation level with one finger of white head that persisted for a long time.
Smell – A little bit of malty, doughy smell. But primarily the beer smelled perfume-like with pine and citrus (orange) notes.
Taste – Malty, biscuity, and clean with very low level of sweetness. The hops had a resinous pine flavor and slight citrus notes. I also want to say that there were hints of passion fruit, however, I am not totally sure.
Mouthfeel – Medium body and rather dry. The bitterness from the hops lingered on the tongue.
Opinion – Clean and malty flavor made this beer an easy drinker. However, it lacked complexity and was out of balance. Which was expected from a beer that was created using only a single malt and single hop.

Very attractive amber brew with a ice pile of suds in the shaker. Aroma is what I dusty and not very hoppy. Sharp but not exactly thin. the malt does give it plenty of body. It's just a light and bubbly beer.
Rather bitter. Watery in a nice, drinkable way. This is just a fast gulp with no particular interest. I wonder what the "single hop" is. It's a bitter one. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Safeway in Portland.

Looks like a domestic beer. Smells sort of stale. Tastes fairly easy to drink. Feels like a domestic. Overall tastes like a mass production beer targeted at the folks that haven't acquired a taste for good craft.

Huge dense white head that lasts. Lacing follows the head all the way down. Smell is light piney hops with a bit of biscuit.
Taste is fruity citrus hops with just a kiss of hop resins. Malt is fairly light which makes this an easy drinker. Body is light to medium and carbonation is plentiful.
Nice summer ale that I could enjoy all year long.
