Sampled last night on 8/13/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a small pilsner glass.

Pours a golden yellow in color with a thin white head that settles down to just a thin layering on top. Some spotty lacing is seen when sipped. Perfect carbonation for this type of brew. The aroma is just mostly of some grains with some rice sweetness. The taste is pretty much the same. Nothing real special but is a good tasting brew. No bitter of harsh aftertaste is noted at all. Usually not a big fan of 'Pale Ales' for the most part as they are all over the board. Over all, they 'GOT-R-DONE'. :)

Part of a new series titled "Reaper Does Blind Tastings of Assorted Pale Lagers."
12oz. bottle served into a pint glass

Pours a pee yellow color that pretty much looks identical to Bud Light in shade, head size, and head density. It looks like a typical pale lager. When the average American has an image of beer in a pint glass, this is what that image is.

Not too overtly adjunct. Some rice, perhaps, but Git-R-Done mostly smells like light sweetness. There's actually some subtle floral notes to the nose here, which is a very pleasant surprise. A bit of daffodil and a bit of honeysuckle.

The flavor is bland and unoffensive and basically nothing but grain-sweet water. This is remarkably like Bud Light, specifically, to the point where I'm sure the brewers were aiming to clone it.

Watery mouthfeel, but not as watery as most light beers. The carbonation level feels right. Overall, this was the best beer that I had in the blind tasting. It's perfectly average for its style in every single way. This was a near-unanimous choice for 1st place amongst the tasting panel, and it was to squeals of delight that our favorite beer was a beer gimmicked after Larry the Cable Guy.

Pretty surprised Larry the cable guy hasn't done sued already... gotta love the brushed gold lettering that harkens back to the days of No Limit album covers. Where's a diamond encrusted belt buckle when you need one?

Pale orange, perfectly clear. About a finger of white foam swelled up and faded to nothing after a minute or two. Thin feeble skim across the surface, spotty lacing.

Smells like soggy honey graham crackers and barley, sweet and grainy. Average and inoffensive, nothing all that appealing though.

Soggy wet grains, honey, saltine crackers. Grainy and swilly. Watery and somewhat carbonated, but it lacks a certain crispness, it's not a dry finish. Lingering honey sweetness and a vague floral note in the aftertaste. Pretty subpar and average all around. Bought the single for the goofy label and state tick, that's about it. Julian date on the bottom of the bottle is "087 10" which leads me to believe this may be well over a year old.

A - Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, fizzy, white head of bubbly foam. It left no lacing.

S - It smelled of caramel and grains. Slightly floral.

T - It tasted of sweet caramel and grains. There was a slight spicy hop bite.

M - It was crisp, sharp and very smooth. A light to medium bodied lager with a dry finish.

O - This is an okay lager. Very sessionable and easy drinking.

Golden brown lager with lots of carbonation and a light, bubbly head. Dry, grassy aroma with some fruity apricot nectar hints. Flavors of dry, crisp grass and tart fruits. It's a lot better than how I imagined a beer with the name of a Larry the Cable Guy catchphrase would taste-his fans might be disappointed.

A: Pale lemon yellow with a very fizzy head that dissipates quite quickly; this beer is really bubbly; lacing is minimal

S: Not a ton going on here: slight citrus hops; mostly a grainy, grassy presence--some toasty malts but mostly this is hay and grass with a touch of lemon

T: Up front a nice citrus bitterness is followed by a grassy and hay-like grainy malt bill with some definite corn; but then it fades to a watery--not offensive--finish; this beer is fine but it honestly just doesn't have a whole lot going on

F: A bit thin--especially on back end; fairly average feel overall

O: For a lager, this is average; it is definitely non-offensive and is much preferred to the vast majority of lagers available in the state; this is a good session beer if you are stuck at a bar in Western Nebraska and need a few beers to wash down your delicious steak

Bumblebee yellow with a fizzilicious crown of parchment colored foam that looks... just okay. The suds are pretty much gone inside of three minutes and the glass is almost untouched. Not a good start.

The nose features 100% pale grains, with a semi-pleasant sweet corn scent, and a hint of musky hoppiness. Average sounds about right, especially since there's no nastiness whatsover.

This is decent beer that should appeal to a fairly wide range of beer drinkers. It won't knock the socks off any craft beer aficionados, but then we all knew that going in. It actually tastes and feels more like an ale... which is a compliment.

The use of corn is the key to Git-R-Done Golden Lager's success. That grain adds another flavor element and the mild background sweetness that makes lighter ABV offerings more palatable. To me, at least. Hops add balance, but otherwise stay out of the way.

The mouthfeel is closer to light than medium, and threatens to tip over into wateriness on the finish. More and higher quality carbonation would have helped to eke out another half-point on the score.

Git-R-Done is a memorable name, but it's a little to corn-pone for me. Then again, given what makes this brew go, maybe it's appropriate. Bottom line: better than any light (or regular) lager from the Big 3 any day of the week... and twice on Sunday.

New to the KC metro area, this was on tap at The Stables in Kearney. Poured into a shaker pint glass. Very thin white head and no lacing at all. Body is a crystal clear pale yellow. Almost no carbonation.

Smell has a grainy corn aroma. No hops or any other levels of aroma. Taste is a watered down excuse of a lager. If I wanted a Bud Light I would have ordered a Bud Light. This was an incredibly uninspired beer. I guess with the name SchillingBridge is trying to attract the Blue Collar Comedy fans. The problem with that is they already have a beer, Bud Light. Did this Git-R-Done? Not really.

12 oz. bottle into Duvel tulip.

$8.99 / 6 pk.

S: Skunky corn?

A: Clear golden yellow body with virtually no head, but some lacing.

T: Corn. . . light hops.

M: High carbonation and water thin.

D: Would be higher if it actually tasted good.

O: Only marginally better than Bud Light. Maybe I don't like lager.

Thanks to my brother for finding this and thinking of me.

A - Yellow with a ever so light hazy appearence. Poured cold, not much of a head is formed. What little there was shrinks to a barely there coating on top.

S - Sweet bready scent.

T - Sweet, pils like. No hop bitterness that I can taste.

M - Not much carbonation (either to be seen or felt). Very light and the flavor leaves my mouth fairly quickly.

D - Easy to drink and not filling (as a light shoud be). Don't get the name though. Offical website says that they made a special deal to use it but based on the label design don't know why they called it that except for marketing reasons. Heck the "brewery" lists its winery products first anyway. Still, a nice beer to have when you want to have more then a couple (session beer).
