12oz brown bottle bought as a single. Poured into a pils glass. A spa like carbonation races to the top and supports a white creamy head. Light golden body.
I wasn't sure if I'd had this before as the label now states "Casa Beer" rather than the Casablanca label I've had at morrocon restaurants. Cooked vegetables and raw grain make up the bulk of this brew. Astringent. This is a bad macro lager.
Not clean or refreshing. Honestly not sure how this can sell other than for the novelty factor or beer hunters trying everthing once. Pass.

Appearance: clear with a deep yellow color. White low head with poor retention.
Aroma: not very nice. Like old corn.
Taste: corn grits, very adjuncty.
Mouthfeel: dry, moderate carbonation, low alcoholic strength.
Finish: kind of bitter and very short.
Overall: almost unpleasant. I will not be visiting this one again.

Casablanca looks a lot like Busch with a little yellow food coloring added to it.
Casablanca smells a lot like Busch would smell if you were standing in a corn field.
Casablanca tastes a lot like Busch would taste like if you were to pour your can of Busch into a cup and leave it on your back porch until a skunk walked by and sprayed it.
Casablanca feels a lot like Busch would feel if you added a bit of tarragon to thicken it up just a tad.
Casablanca is pretty darn undrinkable in a way very similar to the way that Busch is pretty darn undrinkable.
All that being said, Casablanca is otherwise an alright beer.

From my notes 6/9/07 pours a two-finger white head that quickly goes to a ring, leaving no lace. Crystal clear amber color. Musty nose. Light carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is typical hoppy lager that tends to be bitter at finish. S.Fr. 3.80 ($3.09) for a 330ml bottle from Drinks of the World Lucerne, Switzerland.

Appearance - pale yellow with small fizzy head that dies quickly.
Smell - some toasted cereal grains and malt with a hint of hops
Taste - this is one truly awful beer it tastes of hard water, chlorine, lead, and cleaning products. The flavors of corn adjuncts are harsh and burnt tasting. The hops are somewhat acidic and bitter but lend no dynamic characteristics other than those basic flavors
Mouthfeel - light bodied and thin feeling
Overall - this is one of the worst beers I've ever had. If I ever say this in a friends fridge I would ask what he paid for it and then give him that amount and pour the beer down the drain. Avoid this.

As good a a beer from Morocco could be, and better than most internationl lagers. Strange flavours of rubber and sand (bit salty aswell). Sweet malts to start. Crisp finish, stale hops, not a very good beer in the end, bland and plain crappy, but as i said before, not as bad as some.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
A - Pours a straw yellow with bubbly white head that fades rather quckily with no lacing.
S - Pretty straightforward smell of grain and not much malt or hops to speak of. Simple and not very interesting.
T - Starts with a grain lager but finishes with what feels like expired barley and hops that leaves a slightly acidic aftertaste that is not enjoyable. Backend on this is pretty terrible.
M - Light bodied, and plenty of carbonation. Aftertaste leaves an unpleasant mouthfeel.
O - In one word, no. Not an enjoyable beer, and would not want again.

Poured into a regular drink cup.
It is essentially non-descript, yellow, white head, little retention. Aroma and taste are bland, little noticeable malts, no hoppiness at all. It went decently on a very hot day in Florida, but not a lot better than Bud or Miller.

Ingredients: malt, hops, yeast, water
Golden body, thin white head, but lacing remains.
Aroma of random grains. I find it hard to believe that this is all malt, but ok.
An inkling of sweet maltiness, next to no hop flavor, very little bitterness.
Healthy amount of large bubbles.
Bland, a waste of the ingredients.

Had this served in a bar in Rabat.
Very slightly chilled bottle that was served in a small pint glass.
Pure gold color, with little lasting head.
Smell is sweet with some sulphur.
This beer is about as cat piss as cat piss can get. Sweet malt, some sulfur and very little hops.
That being said. I had this beer in Morocco. If you can get any beer in a Muslim country you are lucky. Its just hard to come by. This is a beer that you drink because you want a beer and you want to tell people you had a Moroccan beer. Thats really it. I wouldn't go out of your way to seek this beer out but I would certainly recommend it if you are in Morocco just because the others are not very good. Its very much like the Bud of Morocco.

Bottle. I bought this one because the label stood out a litte.
Poured a clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Straw and grass aroma. Also a little funky. Some sweet malts in the taste but still a little funky (but not in the 'good' way funky).

Can served into a generic goblet in Ibiza, Spain, in April 2011. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a three finger head of fair thickness and retention. Colour is a clear copper.
Sm: Fresh barley aroma. Light in strength. Clean and simple. Not a lot going on here.
T: A bit of cream comes through with a crap malt finish and a boring barley body. Poorly built all around, but the cream is nice I guess. Balanced garbage. How hard is it to balance so little, though?
Mf: Light and smooth. Undercarbonated but I wouldn't call it flat.
Dr: Not worth a try, but fairly priced. There are worse beers on Ibiza.

A - Pours a clear golden colour with a few centimetres of frothy white head that quickly fall away.
S - Grainy with some grassy notes.
T - Along the same lines as the smell with a slight dry ginger twang.
M - Light bodied with medium carbonation.
D - At least some boring beers are sort of refreshing, this isn't.

Light yellow to straw colour & forms a white, bubbly head that is about a fingers width tall but disappears almost instantly.
Sweet aroma to it on the whole. There is a light corn aroma that is matched in equal strength by a sweet syrupy one & a little bit of vegetable.
A little grain followed by slightly more of a sweet syrupy taste matching that from the nose. These flavours are almost drowned out by corn & vegetable adjuncts that come next.
Smooth on the palate but slightly too thin in body, this beer is at least a little refreshing but the aftertaste is dry.
Yet another mass produced, low quality pale lager. Not a beer I'll be trying again. Slightly better than Flag Spéciale but not by much.

A rather odd, liquor-like flavor here, a distinctive tequila whang, sort of like Tequiza, without the lime and less corn. Beneath the liquor flavors was a huskyness that bordered on harsh, but held back just a bit. Sampled at Epcot as I tried to drink my way around the world, glad this was not the end of the Earth, as it would be a sorry beer to end the day with.

I had this beer at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House
A: This beer poured a dark golden color, with a very small head and no lacing
S and T: A light smell and taste, with a hint of fruity notes
M: This beer went down smooth, but was a bit waterly
D: This is a OK beer, but it is one that I won't buy.

I bought this beer because I've never had a beer form an African country, much less one with a majority Muslim population. Also, having been to the country, it will be an interesting cultural experience. The label also said "Casa Beer". Same brewery.
This beer was poured from the bottle into a pint glass. I was especially eager to pour the beer as it was either unfiltered or something was terribly wrong. There was a bit of sediment in the bottle. Is that normal? Once in my glass sans sediment it is actually a decent adjunct in the looks department. Nice head, nice bubble action, average yellow color.
It smelled good at first. Light, sweet, little malt smell. After a few minutes, though, it became less appealing, like a watery Bud Light.
The first sip was nice. Sweet, nice malty flavors, refreshing. After that it went down hill. Watery and a little sour.
Too many bubbles in the mouth. It was fine when it tasted good, but its just scary now.
Back to the change in taste, it would have been pretty damn good before the flavor shift. It could have been quite drinkable. I'm not sure if it was old, not cold enough, or just me, but it just tasted funny after just a few minutes. If only it stayed the way it started. That said, I would try it again if either I found a bottle with no sediment or I was in Morocco again.
