Now here is a store that knows their business. I just moved into the area and am I glad I found this place. They have to be one of the largest stores I have seen. They have one of the largest coolers around. They seem to have everything. You can even sample beers on their beer meisters before you buy. The people who work there are very friendly and seem to know alot about beer. I think I spent about 2 hours there on my first visit. Their prices seem to be very reasonable especially compared to other stores. The store is very clean and very well organized.

Fantastic place. Right around the corner helps, but the workers are very friendly and helpful and the selection is by far the best in the area.

North Penn is hands down, the best distributor in the area.

As a regular customer, I feel as if I'm treated with a lot of respect when I walk in. There are many pleasant employees who are willing to answer any questions, and have actual beer knowledge to share.

I purchase kegs on a regular basis, and no other local distributor comes close with selection of sixtels. The website has their entire barrel selection, and its availability for everyone to see which is a huge plus.

There are many other cases to search through and one can easily get lost in the abundance of beer to choose from. Another positive is the free beer sampling on tap as soon as you walk in. Throw in the seasonal gift packs and lots of freebies and you will love North Penn as much as I do.

Been here a couple of times and the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Looking for hard to find beers? Ask and they will do what they can to attain it/them. Prices are very reasonable. Their facebook page is always updated when something new or rare is in and if you ask they will hold one for you behind the counter! Unheard of at many other distributors in PA! Great place to check out if you're in the area.

This is my favorite beer distributor in PA. The import and craft beer selection is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable, interactive and will do their best to procure your favorite brew. In addition to the outstanding selection this place has the price marked on the shelf for EVERY beer they sell. This feature is extremely rare in PA and is the main reason I shop here. I give them my highest commendation. Beer stores like this are the main reason a retired beer lover like me stays in this blue-law state.

I've been to most distributors in this area and none of them has the selection that North Penn has. Great selection of craft and import. That includes cases and kegs, especially sixtels. No charge for cold beer. Prices are comparable to slightly lower in some cases compared to local competition. They always have 4 or 5 beers available on tap for free sampling. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I'd love to see them improve the cigar selection, but that's beside the point. I consider myself lucky to live within a couple miles of North Penn.

North Penn Beverage is a little bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. The atmosphere is nice. The store is well laid out and nice and bright. The quality of their beer is top notch. They have a very good craft selection...I always find at least two cases that I want to take home with me. Service is also very good. The guys there are always happy to help out and chat beer. No food here but they do offer free beer on tap! All in all a great place to shop for your next case or keg. Thanks!

Stopped by this place instead of my normal stores for the first time, and was very pleasantly surprised.Store is large, clean, and well organized. Organized into Domestic, Import, and Craft sections.

Large selection of imports from all over Europe and South America, including an impressive selection of high end Belgians. Their Craft selection was also huge, with beers from all over the country, including many hard to find West Coast brews, and limited releases.

Most beers are clearly labeled price tags, and many have laminated Beer Advocate descriptions.

Staff was friendly. When I was paying, the Owner or Manager gave me a business card, and let me know that all of the inventory is kept up to date on their website, and that if there is anything I would want special-ordered, just to call.

I gave it a 5 for quality basically because of the selection and variety of things you can get in this store. I mean lets face it, how many beer distributors have carpeted floors and a "fungshway"(however its spelled) to them? This place has a concrete floor, and wooden racks for the beer. Pretty standard.

The service could probly have gotten a higher rating, but I ussually dont ask too many questions, I browse a lot, but the people running the store always seem friendly.

The selection is fantastic. Best in the area. Anything from Natural Light to Samichlaus Bier. This place has it all. Large cooler to take out cold beer, they sell a variety of kegs, taps, nuts, party mix, lotto tickets, the works. They also have sampler packs of some of the pricier beers like Chimay, or Duvel. What else thats great is if you purchase certain cases you get a free glass with it! What I really enjoyed was their alphabetized section of Microbrews. For each Microbrewery they sell theres an average of about 3-4 varieties of beer from each brewer. Another awesome feature is they actually have laminated print outs of BA ratings for the beers there!! The same page you'd see on BA about a particular beer is in this store, not on every single beer of course but a good portion.

The price is pretty standard, cant complain. They always have a decent special running too which is nice.

Since I've moved into the area this has become my go to place for picking up a case.

This place is a problem for me.... Decent size, and fairly good selection. For your basic distributor removed from Philly by about 45 minutes, they carry some good breweries outside of the region. Bear Republic, Great Divide, Lagunitas, Stone and Green Flash were all represented in addition to the standard Victory, Troegs, Yards, Flying Fish, Dogfish Head, etc.

However, I was in the mood for a nice fresh IIPA. Shame on the brewers also, but no bottled on dates on the cases of Racer 5, Hop Rod Rye, Hercules, Titan, or Hop Stoopid that I looked at.

Really nice guys working there, but each said those beers are at least 3 months old, probably 5-6. Ok for that case of Bigfoot Barleywine, but for the IPAs, I'll pass. They even offered to order a case of Stone IRS for me when I inquired about it.

Want to like this distributor, guess it will have to do for some of the cellar beers I buy. I would avoid the IPAs from here like the plague, unless you like a diminished hop profile.

I found this place in Souderton as it is near a client of mine and I pass it every time I am there. I went in one day just so see what they had but I wasn't expecting much as they had a bunch of macro neon signs outside the store. I was surpised when I went inside. I was pleased to see a good selection of local brewers (Stoudt's, Victory, Weyerbacher, DFH and others). They have a nice section of micros that includes the above noted beers and also some offerings from Brooklyn. I picked up a case of Orangeboom from the Netherlands as I really enjoyed this beer when I lived in the Netherlands a few years ago and hadn't found it in the US before but I will come back to North Penn to get some of their other fine offerings.

North Penn is a distributor located in Souderton, PA. They have the base beers (CMB) and a good selection of the local big breweries (The Lion, Yards, Victory, etc.).
The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and can answer many questions about the micros they sell. They have an import section and a micro section. The import section has a pleasant variety of European beers including Courage, O’Hara’s, Elephant and others. They also carry Asian brews. The micro section has a good focus on the local breweries, a big plus when distributors support the local folks! Their offerings range from the inexpensive offerings from The Lion brewery such as Pocono Pale and Lion Pilsner, to a full array of Weyerbacher, Victory, and Stoudt’s. The micro stock is constantly rotating which helps ensure a fresher case of beer and provides for a good seasonal selection. Their prices are reasonable and they are usually running a discount on various cases. This is my usual beer distributor and worth a look if you would like an Eastern PA micro! Cheers!
