This dark amber lager beer has a rich, toasted malt character balanced with a slight amount of toffee in the finish. Hop bitterness is rounded off with alcohol warmth.

Another new brew from da gents at SQ1, and another fine one indeed. Really enjoyed this beer, only had one pint but was ready for another one or three.
Classic dobbleB this one be, clear oaken brown pour in the pint glass, ½ inch ivory head perched on top. Sugar malt left small Brussels lace on the way down.
Enticing aroma of caramel malt progressing into a tasty and hearty quaff of sweet goodness, ending with a well balanced blend of hop and spice. Bits of toasted bread add a nice touch to a tasty brew, hitting the style nicely.

Pours a clear, dark amber color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, and slight hop. Fits the style of a Doppelbock. Mouth feel is smooth and creamy with a low carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, sweet malt, hint of hops, slight dark citrus, and a hint of roasted malt. Overall, it is on the verge of being too sweet but not quite, otherwise a good body and blend, with weak aroma.
